Extremely disappointing – I won't be returning I've stayed at the Savoy 5–6 times before, but after this experience, I seriously doubt I'll return. Check-in took 45 minutes because I wasn't given the main pool-view room I'd booked and shown in my reservation. After arguing my case and showing the booking photos, I was charged an extra 1,700 MAD to get the room I believed I'd already paid for. From there, the problems continued. Security chased after us over bringing outside alcohol into the hotel, despite this restriction not being made clear. At breakfast, staff repeatedly cleared my coffee, juice and water while I was clearly still sitting at the table. Due to ongoing building work, my car was returned covered in dust after being parked by the hotel. Concierge promised to look into it, then completely forgot about it. Two days later, I was ridiculously told the dirt was caused by rain, despite it not raining when I originally complained. The final straw was at the bar. With 10 minutes left of the England match, a waiter repeatedly demanded I settle my bill immediately, explaining that "some people leave without paying." I'm a hotel resident and a repeat guest, yet I was made to feel like I couldn't be trusted to pay my bill. Even the manager's attitude afterwards was arrogant and dismissive. Though I had a brief stay, I enjoyed it fully. I loved the ambience and staff were simply amazing!

The breakfast was good but when I asked them to get me a cup they said yes but they didn’t get it os I had to ask 2more people just for them to get it .

Our stay at the Savoy Le Grand Marrakech was absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job every single day. Every member of staff we encountered throughout the hotel was warm, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home. The level of hospitality was outstanding, and it really made our stay special. Unfortunately, the spa was a completely different experience and the only disappointing part of our stay. I was refused a massage because I have a very small amount of psoriasis. I found this extremely upsetting and unprofessional. After I questioned their decision and explained that it is a mild, non-contagious skin condition, they suddenly changed their minds and said they would carry out the massage after all. By that point, however, I no longer felt comfortable. To make matters worse, the spa staff were giggling together in French while discussing the situation, which made me feel judged and embarrassed. Whether they were talking about me or not, it was completely inappropriate and left me with no confidence in receiving treatment, so I decided not to go ahead with the massage. It was a real shame because the spa experience fell far below the exceptional standards of the rest of the hotel. Despite this, I would absolutely return to the Savoy Le Grand Marrakech because every other aspect of our stay was excellent. Next time, however, I’ll be booking my spa treatments elsewhere.

Stayed there 4 nights really nice hotel and really amazing pools and breakfast. Staff really helpful and near Mall which meant finding food or shopping wasn't hard

Clean room , nice breakfast, beautiful pool and view . Staff were slow when in breakfast . Had to ask for a spoon and glass of orange juice 3 times and still didn’t get it . Had to get up and go and get a drink myself . Room service was good nice and clean .

Many staff were not friendly while others were, could be a culture clash. Rooms were amazing and air cond. worked well. Gym is top of the line. Spa was ok, nothing extraordinary but for the rate it suffices. Breakfast is amazing! Pool hours are limited.

Upon arrival, our suitcases were taken from us by the Bell boy as per usual process at a nice hotel. We went to our room and waited over 30 minutes for the bags, at which point we then went back to reception to see our cases sat at the back of a very big queue of cases still to be dealt with. The reception was chaos and as we wanted to start to enjoy our holiday, we then took our own cases to our room and changed and unpacked. Our room was OK. Be aware, the hotel is currently undergoing a massive amount of building work and the hotel is dusty and noisy as a result. It is not at all like the pictures around the pool that are displayed. The general staff in the bar and restaurants are beyond poor, they look bored and when you ask for service, they walk in the other direction and avoid work as much as they can. During our stay, some younger workers were introduced to the breakfast service, they were so much better! People had eaten food in the pool bar and the plates and remains of food were left there for hours - plenty of staff around to clean up but they left it all. Staff at breakfast were slightly better but essentially, the breakfast staff end up being the staff at other areas of the hotel later in the day. None of which are bothered about guests by the looks.One server left us so long with a menu, we walked off after 20 minutes without placing an order. I would not go back to this hotel. Outside of the hotel, begging children are all around, asking for money.

Location good. Construction noice. You hear it by the main pool but nothing crazy. I did feel like walking around and under the scaffolding to get to the main lobby, at times, felt unsafe with people and cranes working above. The staff, need some customer service training except for Naoufal. He works the front by the luggage. I have no specific complaint about anyone. Only to say. When you show up to get exchange, no one is there. The front desk. They just carry on their chat in front of you and no one acknowledges that you have been standing there for 5 min trying to ask a question. The phone service, they transfer you everywhere and tell you someone will call you back and never do. They tell you breakfast is till 11. Got there at 10:30 one morning and everything had been pulled away. Breakfast was fantastic though. The place was well kept. Beds were comfortable and the room was not old or dated. I would stay there again, I think. But if those things would ruin your stay … pick another place.

Property was old building everything obsolete window has no locks towels very old

The staff, the property maintenance, breakfast 10/10. There is construction currently going on but it did not disturb my sleep. The property is next to a mall and Buddha bar restaurant.

Beautiful property, right in the heart of the city. Everything is within reach and the staff are always available to assist
