DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central

The hotel is lovely. Spacious rooms, clean, beautiful pool and the restaurant was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a less than nice area of Glasgow so the surroundings are not great.

First time staying at this hotel and had great stay from start to finish. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff at reception who was very helpful and informative. Our room was lovely, very spacious and spotlessly clean. All the staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and had a large variety of hot and cold food to choose from. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends

We really enjoyed our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel was clean and quiet! The food in the restaurant was fairly good. We really enjoyed talking with Ryan in the bar area. He seemed genuinely interested in where we were from and made us feel welcome! The pool area was kept clean. We would stay at the Doubletree again.

Check in great - really lovely idea of giving a welcome cookie. Upgrade was also well appreciated and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel Parking for 18£ not so intuitive - Cambridge St. parking only 8£ much better and just opposite. Breakfast buffet and pool were insanely overcrowded and did not use either. Room was lacked bathrobe and slippers but had tea, good TV, ample space, chairs, tables, all of which were convenient. Overall the facilities could use slight modifications or more modern touches to improve the experience but it was well-kept. Staff did a good job also!

Easy access to the bustling streets of Glasgow, 10 mins from train station if walking.

No AC on the 2nd floor. When reported, the staff responded that it was a known problem and did NOTHING to remedy the issue beyond providing a desk fan.

Stayed in Glasgow for one night and the hotel was perfect. Very close to the Buchanan Street, a very enjoyable walk, shopping street. The staff, room and breakfast all very good, professional and compatible with a 4-stars hotel. The car park was very convenient too. No issues to comment.

An extremely helpful and friendly restaurant manager helped us and young child get a meal fast in the fully booked restaurant after we informed her of our early flight. It was much appreciated.

We had such an amazing trip and couldn’t have asked for a more convenient and comfortable hotel - we will be back 😊

Hotel check in friendly staff , pool closed for two days out of three not sure what was wrong . I choose my hotel with a pool so it was very disappointing. Rooms very comfortable best pillow ever. Hand to the bus station

We are both allergic to feather pillows so i called ahead to arrange non-feather. Luckily i checked after check-in, as no Hilton has ever got this right for me, and they were feather. My allergic reaction started just by checking and touching the pillows. If i hadn't checked we'd both have been very ill. Front desk were apologetic and changed it for us. I thought this was a step-in shower, but there's a big step up, which I found very difficult without handrails. Lastly, there was nowhere for us to unpack. My friend used the tiny space in the wardrobe, i lived out of my suitcase. No shelves or drawers, no hook for a towel or a coat! The 'hooks' in the bathroom were useless. Great staff, great shower, very clean and comfortable room. Fantastic aircon. The room felt quality. I may request a room with a different bathroom layout next time. And please can we have somewhere to put our clothes!

Lovely modern hotel. Great breakfast and the food was actually hot. Rooms spacious and beds extremely comfy. Didn’t like having only a rain shower ( no good if needing to keep your hair dry) Had to have a bath but really wanted a shower. No tissues in bedroom which I would expect at this standard. Very helpful staff and great location for shops, subway etc. Would definately recommend

Very convenient place to shops, supermarkets, cafe and underground but still quiet. Very clean and airy. Very friendly and polite staff. Surprisingly large room for a family room in such a central location. Both double beds unfortunately had its days. Could feel the springs underneath so we didn’t sleep well. Bathroom is a bit tight especially trying to get out of the bath tub. Shower was nice and hot. Very surprised to see a hotel with a swimming pool in this central location. It’s small but decent. Bar is great although we only had mocktails. Dinner was expensive and not so tasty but there is a big coach group so the chefs could be busy that day. Kid’s meal was delicious though.

The bathroom smelled really bad, only 1 towel provided, overall a terrible room considering I booked a king size deluxe room 2/10 will never come back and would not recommend.

The toilet ceiling was dirty. Informed the front desk and was told it wil be cleaned. When we came back that night it wasn’t cleaned. Informed again the next morning and it was cleaned. As for the shower, there was no hand shower and no rain shower. The bathtub was small. Better not to have a bathtub. Other than that all the front desk staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is in a strategic location.
