The only good thing was the pool steam and sauna facilities, everything else was poor and dangerous. 1) The bed had a sharp metal spring protruding out of it which was only realised when someone got injured from it. 2) The shower door was broken and nearly fell on my face. 3) There was no kitchen equipment (cutlery plates or other basic things). The listing falsely advertised that these would be present. 4) There was no kitchen soap but I guess we dont need it because they did not provide any kitchen items anyway. 5) The fridge shelf was broken. 6) The apartment was extremely hot, surprised there is no air conditioning available. In fairness this was not advertised anyway. 7) The pool and sauna areas had no locker rooms available and there was only 1 closed shower to use between everyone that uses the facilities. 8) The bathroom was the smallest I have seen in my life. The sink was made for a 5 year old and it was so low down you would have to sit on the toilet just to use it. The shower was so small, if you are over 6ft and carry some weight, you are not going to be able to move without getting hit by something. 9) You try to call the front desk a million times and no one answers. You try to message via the expedia app to the hotel and they do not respond. Absolute joke. 10) At one point the whole area was surrounded by police, don't know what happened, but it doesn't seem that safe. Very shocking experience to say the least. I will not be coming back. Avoid.

Staff were amazing, room impossibly and suffocating hot due to lack of aircon and airflow. Stayed on one of the hottest days of the year and from stepping out the lift and into the corridor on the 15 floor I knew I was going to be in for a terrible night. There was a small fan in the room but it didn’t touch the temperature

Sajnos nincs klíma és a vasút oldalán nagy a zaj éjjel is, a nagy meleg és a vasút miatt másik szobát kértünk, ahol lehetett választani, hogy inkább meleg legyen, mint zaj.a 20. emeleten lévő uszoda sokat segített a komfort érzetünkön. Ott már jól tudtunk pihenni. A szállás elhelyezkedése a közösségi közlekedés és éttermek szempontjából kiváló! Összességében meg vagyunk elégedve!

Clean room very nice and Modern and nice pool

The room were clean, the staff were amazing and the area was very nice

The room was overheated. Really bad air. The kitchen bit was without any cutlery glasses or plates. Just empty. The room wasn’t really cleaned and the corridor was smelling really uncomfortable. I don’t know why they have so good ratings.

The only thing I liked about the property was the laundry, and the foyer because it was the only place which was air conditioned. We were in London during the heatwave and there was no airconditioning in the rooms, only a tiny fan. The room was dirty when we checked in, and smelled of cat urine, as did the hallways. The smell got worse as the weather got hotter. We had to keep the window open overnight and of course couldn’t block out the noise of the trains. We checked out one day earlier out of our desperation to get a good nights sleep. I absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation

The property was not maintained well and had awful smells. There is no air con but we were given 2 fans that barely worked. No where to put them other than right next to the bed. The bathroom was very big but the shower was tiny and leaked. TV was small. A terrible experience.

Someone busted into our room at 1.40am whilst we were fast asleep. It was terrifying, my husband almost attacked the guy- this guy was holding a key card and had been given our room as a mistake We complained in the morning and was told we need to write to their office to complain. COOL THANKS

Lobby is good. However, no air conditioner from lift lobby to room. Hotel only provide fan to customer which is a bit disappointed as the hotel private is not low.

O hotel é ótimo, a equipe super simpática e prestativa! Academia muito boa A vista da piscina é maravilhosa Único ponto ruim é o banheiro, muuuuito pequeno, quem é grande precisa tomar cuidado com esse detalhe. De resto nota 10!

Unfortunately no air conditioning or even a fan to cool you down which meant we had to have both windows open and with the DLR line passing directly under the window ever 10 mins or so it was very difficult to sleep with the noise. I get that London isn’t always this warm but it was when we stayed and it was pretty unbearable in the room. The room was smaller than expected too although that wouldn’t have mattered if we could have cooled down.

I wouldn’t waste your time staying here if it’s not winter. Our room was unbearable and we actually chose to drive home after our event as it just wasn’t possible to sleep with the heat. There is one window which hardly opens and a very small fan which did absolutely nothing. The fridge also didn’t keep anything cold as when I came back everything was warm and it smelt strongly of beer. The bathroom is so small you can hardly turn around in it and had no cold water from the tap only scalding hot. I took things to reception whose suggestion was ‘ well there should be cold water’. Said they agreed it was very hot and asked if I had bothered to open my window. We asked for a refund as we had no choice but to drive home at 1am but they refused as we had already checked in. Hotels.com have been very helpful and been trying to resolve it by the hotel are flat out refusing even though we didn’t even get to sleep there. Wouldn’t recommend or return. The reception also never answer their phone so good luck if you have a question.

It’s not sound proof at all. A couple 2 doors down we’re having g a fight in the middle of the night that woke everyone up on the floor.

1 von 5 Sternen Das Ark Canary Wharf war eine große Enttäuschung. Die gesamte Unterkunft macht einen stark vernachlässigten und heruntergekommenen Eindruck. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche wirken, als wären sie seit Jahren nicht mehr ordentlich instand gehalten worden. Besonders auffällig war der Zustand der Teppiche auf den Fluren. Diese waren in einem erbärmlichen Zustand, stark abgenutzt und vermittelten keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Auch die Zimmer selbst zeigten deutliche Verschleißerscheinungen und eine teilweise beschädigte Ausstattung. Eine Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden. Zwar war das Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts angenehm kühl, sodass dies kein akutes Problem darstellte, dennoch entspricht das nicht unbedingt dem Standard, den man bei einer Unterkunft in dieser Preisklasse erwarten würde. Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck, dass Wartung, Renovierung und allgemeine Instandhaltung über lange Zeit vernachlässigt wurden. Für den verlangten Preis ist das Angebot aus unserer Sicht absolut nicht angemessen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht erneut buchen und können sie leider nicht empfehlen.

Heat wave hitting London, windows in the rooms where left on with no air con. Didn't stay. Went to a different hotel.

The room as usual was spotless and immaculate, though the bed is a small double it is still very comfy and the two of us had no complaints about it. Room amenities are great, kettle, electric hob, microwave and there's even washing up liquid and a sponge. The fitness rooms are more than adequately for mo needs. The 'icing on the cake' has to be the 20th floor swimming pool and jacuzzi with its view across the Thames (there's also a sauna and steam room). The on the 20th floor is spacious and relaxing and a great variety of drinks to suit everyone. My one disappointment is the size of the shower, very compact but the water pressure is great.

Room was clean, spacious, everything needed. Amenities were good the only downside is yes you get a fan in the room but with the hot weather it really needed Aircon, difficult to sleep with how warm the room gets. Other than that zero complaints and would stay again

Staff were good, site facilities are great! However... The rooms are so poor. I'm not a bed dimension expert but these beds are tiny, because the rooms are like matchboxes. I've never had the desire to swing a cat round, but here you couldn't even swing a mouse! Whilst I was considering swinging an ant round, I had to stop due to the deafening sounds that you get every 15 minutes from the neighbouring DLR, luckily between 1am and 5am they had a little break so I got some rest in my pixie sized bed... Pointless kitchenette with zero items in, a broken kettle, a broken iron and blocked bathroom sink, should invest some money in actual rooms rather than facilities. Like two different places. Also, pretty sure the doors are made from lead or something easily as dense, not sure how the dwarfs these rooms are designed for would open them!! To summarise, stay here as a last resort, not worth the small savings you can make vs other places.
