Loved the whole place

This place was great for our family of 5. (Children 12, 9 & 5). We enjoyed the pools and facilities. The parking was ideal and the location was a 5 min walk to beach. It was annoying being on the 3rd floor (no elevator) but the view was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time staying here and it was just as good as before. The kids had a blast, rooms were comfortable, stocked with what we needed and surprisingly quiet despite kids as neighbours. My kids enjoyed the many pool, tennis, basketball, mini golf and night time BBQ.The only hard bit we found last time and this time is the amount of stairs but not sure that can be helped. The staff at the Deck (im guessing mostly seasonal) weren't the nicest or accommodating this time around. Yes they're working on the tram lines out side the resort but we couldnt hear it and it didnt impact our stay; in fact, were excited for our next stay so we can use them!!

We loved almost everything about turtle beach! It had everything we needed for a family and made everything so easy! Shame about the light rail works but that can't be helped! Only two things were that the rooms were a bit dated (first world problems) and the couches weren't very comfortable, but aside from that. Loved it!!

Our family enjoyed our stay. Our apartment was comfortable and clean. The facilities for the children at Turtle Beach Resort were marvelous. The staff were helpful and friendly all the time. A great resort for families with children.

The first thing to say is that we did enjoy our stay, and our kids had a great time. We had read the reviews and knew what to expect and paid around $220 a night for a two bedroom apartment. This is budget accommodation so that’s what you should expect. Room We stayed in a superior room and I wouldn’t stay in anything less here. It was very basic and dated, but still comfortable. Mostly clean (the couch needs a steam clean). The carpet was new in our apartment, as were the bench tops in the kitchen, and appliances had been upgraded. Stairs became tiresome with a pram, but we knew this before coming. We are a family of four with 2 kids under 6, and I would say this resort is probably more suited to families with older kids who would enjoy the amenities more. It is loud into the night as there are kids in the pool until late. Also fine by us. The splash zone doesn’t allow adults down the slides, which makes it hard with little ones. It is well manned and managed though with a life guard. The amount of pools was great, but they were just a little too cold (it’s late August we stayed though). My three year old didn’t tolerate the temperature of the water and even I was struggling. They are well maintained and clean. Restaurant and food is basic too but absolutely fine for snacks/ice cream. Woolworths, beach, shops and restaurants are all walking distance. When the tram line is finished this will be a great location to be. Staff are lovely, helpful, friendly.

Very child friendly, staff during day were very helpful and friendly. Apartment needed a bit of maintenance eg batteries in remotes and safe (didn't work) Only downside was our room key failed after a swim at the pool one evening. Man behind the counter wasn't concerned i had 3 youug children locked out at night which i made very clear and proceeded to check in other guests while i stood there dripping in my togs for 20 minutes

My family and I stayed there for 8 days and we had a good time. The apartment is spacious for a family of 3, and has laundry room which it was a + for me. My son enjoyed all the pools and kids area. My husband loved the gym and used it every day. The location is good, but during our stay there was a lot of construction on the road for the tram extension. When we requested a service, they were not very efficient and sometimes we had to request for 3 times the same thing. I wish their restaurant had a better menu selection. Overall, we had a great experience.

Great place to stay with family. But need to fix lights along pathways.

Perfect for a family get away. Very child friendly

Very happy with the apartment I got. Generally looks quite nice, has locked parking, on-site restaurant was pretty ordinary but not bad. It's definitely more intended for families with children given the amenities present (lots of pools w/ slides), but even when I went with my partner I enjoyed it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property could do with some maintenance, for example the sides of the slide area needs a good clean down and the room was pretty dated. This said, our room was clean and tidy and everything was functional and comfy. The amenities for the kids were great, they loved the pools, mini golf etc. Staff were fantastic and always friendly. The resort had a great vibe and everyone seemed happy and relaxed.

Waterslides and pools are great for kids but the rooms were outdated and missing vital items such as spare blankets and coffee, and customer service was not amazing.

As always the stay is great, only issue were the door handles for the bedroom and bathroom. They seem old and should probably be replaced. One fell off whilst I turned it

Great for the younger children with the different swimming areas and mini golf. Rooms are very dated. 2 adults, stayed for 5 nights and was only given half a toilet roll of paper and had to supply your own. 2 averaged sized Coffee mugs but 1 handle was broken, should have been replaced already. Comfortable bed but only had 1 thin blanket on the bed (great for summer but we stayed during winter). Plenty of onsite parking included in your accommodation.

Overall we had a great time. My husband cut his finger pretty bad on a broken tile in one of the pools. Borderline needed a hospital visit and stitches. Staff really could have handled the situation better. Concern could have been more and the tiles were not fixed. If a child cut their finger the way he did then could have been a lot worse for a tiny finger. Property was clean. Could have been more complimentary dishwasher powder and toilet paper. 2 rolls for a family of 4 for 7 nights isn’t going to cut it. Overall though great for the kids, will return.
