Great family vacation

We chose turtle beach resort with the huge slash & slide, as a place to meet up with several family members, all of us travelling long distances with kids, to attend a wedding. The idea was to give the kids something really fun to reward them after the tedious journey there, & let their wild side out, with maximum fun in the minimum time we had before getting ready for the wedding. But when we arrived, the big splash & slide was closed for renovations. At no point were we, the customers informed of this before booking or at check in. What a let down. We certainly wouldn’t have booked here. Or we would have expected some type of consolation for the let down. Also the deadlock on our apartment door was not functional, so as soon as the toddlers realised they could open the front door, none of the parents could relax, we had to be on high alert monitoring that door. Also the apartment staircase is very very steep, so definitely also required monitoring & assistance for small children, & anyone carrying a child, or going up or down at night. Sensor lights for the staircase or continuous rail might have helped make that safer. Otherwise the apartment was lovely, clean. staff were lovely & responsive. They did confidently give us wrong info about the women’s change rooms in the pool areas being suitable to begin getting ready for our wedding. There wasn’t women’s rooms. Just a unisex cubical & an outdoor shower. But they did organise an early check in soon after. Much Appreciated.

Room was spotless, great family amenities. Our third stay year on year and we will back again next year!

Great for families. Everything on site or close by. Close to the beach. Train ride to surfers paridise. Friendly staff. Everything we hoped it would be.

Simple check in and staff around the resort were friendly and helpful. Easy going environment and the water park is great simple fun!

Pools were enjoyable. Kids enjoyed the pools, slides and the onsite craft activities.

Im disabled so my views are probably different to most. What i found overwhelmingly making your resort average is the layout and accessibility and no lift. the place is disorienting. a maze. poorly signed and difficult to access or navigate. it gets boring getting lost.

The front staff were very very rude, had a family member in tears. Hot water service ran out. Crockroches everywhere. Blackets were terrible. Public toilets were filthy. Smelt like pee. Would not recommend.

Great facilities, the best play to stay with kids, close to the beach and Woolworths for supplies.

All in all, it was good. Loud at times, but expected during the busy period. One of pools wasn’t available on one of the days we were there, which was a shame because it was my son’s favourite water slide after the splash pad. Everything was clean which was good. The rooms are slightly outdated, but it had everything we needed for the time we stayed. Parking was a challenge with a taller vehicle, but we mostly worked it out. There’s a lot of road works outside the resort, so keep that in mind if you’re staying here. Thanks for the great time and great memories 😊

Very nice place, clean rooms with all the facilities. Need better lounge couch in living room.

We have stayed at Turtke Beach Resort now 5 times yes it is clean and the staff are friendly we just feel that it is now a little dated could do with an upgrade. I also have mobility issues and not having lifts is now a problem.

Room was really clean and comfortable with plenty of space. A number of pool areas to choose from. Bbq areas all through the resort. Woolworths walking distance. Beach a short distance across the rd was very nice and beautiful views of the high rises.

We spent a nice week at Turtle Beach Resort. Overall, the experience was ok. However, I have a few comments to mention: - Swimming pools are usually not very clean. I think they clean it every day, but the pool floors are not clean, and the pool water has many bugs and insects. - My booking says daily room service and cleaning. However, they did it only once on check-in. When I called them, they mentioned that they charge extra for room service. - Even for simple things (like rubbish bags, towels, etc.), they asked us to purchase those ourselves as they won't provide them.

Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment, room was dated but clean and all we needed for our stay. Staff were friendly. Kids loved the different selection of activities from the pools and slides to the tennis/basketball courts to the mini putt. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Great pool

Fantastic family holiday spot with lots of pool options and great restaurant on site. Super close to a supermarket and great facilities in the family suites. Highly recommend for a family stay.

Closed half the resort which is the only reason we stayed here. No notice when we made the booking!
