It's the greatest hotel in Chengdu. Everything was good enough.

It was a good stay, staff are really attentive and they always try to help as much as possible. They received us with tea and the check in process was smooth (although a bit slow to be honest). The room was clean and comfortable, bed and pillows are great. Breakfast is also really good. The gym and spa are great, as for the pool I expected like an actual area for chilling but it was an actual swimming pool pretty much for swimming only (but I was never advertised otherwise so can’t complain). We had room service once and the food was pretty bad. We only ordered two salads so maybe the rest is good, but the salads are expensive and not good at all.

Excellent service, facilities and wonderful club lounge

Staff at this hotel were excellent and helpful. However, overall as a Ritz Carlton brand, this hotel left a lot to be desired. Rooms were decent sized, but very dated. Amenities felt cheap and not at RC standards. Shower head had poor pressure and had water spraying everywhere. Already made wind down everyday annoying. No welcome snack at all, language was written in Chinese, meaning they did not take care to understand their guest before our arrival (small touches that make the RC brand). Breakfast left a lot to be desired, mainly Chinese breakfast and carb heavy, seemed it catered more to a local crowd vs an international one. Not a wide selection compared to other RC properties. Over several days my table was cleared even before I finished. Staff lacked attentiveness given that it’s a buffet breakfast and diners would be roving to get more food. Overall, the breakfast experience gave off a very mainstream 3 star hotel vibe. The trip was still enjoying but I came with the expectation that I was staying at a RC property so nothing really met that expectation vs other RC property I’ve stayed at.

Exactly what I expected of the Ritz.

Hotel was centrally located in the downtown area, It was easy to navigate the city with the subway and taxis. All the restaurants and shopping were adjacent to the hotel. The evenings saw many local residents walking, eating at local sidewalk restaurants and shopping. Very convenient location. Luca Spatafora, who was working the lobby reception area was extremely helpful with my phone e-sim card, and other recommended restaurants. He also followed up with my departure to make sure all check was done to my satisfaction.

Ritz Carlton Chengdu is the top notch hotel to stay at. Situated conveniently near Chunxi Road and the main tourists attractions. The staff Sam Tung was the star of the hotel. His professionalism and warmth in welcoming us to not just the hotel, but to Chengdu as a whole.

Superb room and service. The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing.

Very clean

My family (5 in total) stayed in two rooms here for 5 nights. We really enjoyed the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Luca Spatafora, who provided personalized support throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great help from Luca to show us the highlights near the hotel and also from concierge team as they organized a day tour for us. Restaurant Li Xuan is a must!

Staff excellent. Air cons weren’t working well, but were fixed very quickly. Rooms were nice a clean. Good stay.

Level of service was very high, particularly my concierge Cherry who arranged everything from dinner reservations to a free hotel shuttle to the panda center. Multiple staff members greeted me by name in the hallway. I enjoyed my stay.

Room is clean and quite. Staffs are very helpful. Location is very convenient, walking distance to local restaurants and shopping malls.

Staff are very helpful . Special thanks to Ms Carol Liu at the restaurant for her exceptional hospitality and help during our stay . Chinese restaurant at the hotel is excellent with delicate dishes .
