안녕하세요? 여행을 좋아하는 한국 부부입니다. 비행기 경유만 하려고했던 영국이었는데 갑작스러운 항공기 결항으로 숙박을 하게되어 다급하게 런던 시내에 숙소를 잡게 되었고 살인적인 숙박 가격에 깜짝 놀랐으나 이왕이면 조금이라도 편하게 여행하고자 깔끔해보이는 해당 호텔로 다소 비싼가격(50만원-조식포함)으로 예약을 진행했습니다. (당일 예약시 대부분의 런던시내 호텔들은 비쌌습니다.) 처음 입구부터 다양한 국적을 다니며 경험해봤던 4,5성급 호텔과는 전혀 다른 느낌의 외관에 충격을 받았고 내부로 들어가서 다시 한 번 충격을 받았습니다. bar&호텔을 함께 운영하는 곳이다보니 4성급 호텔임에도 불구하고 제대로된 리셉션은 갖춰져있지 않았고 주문받는 카운터에서 호텔 체크인도 진행하다보니 바를 이용하는 손님들로 분주한 직원분들께서 제대로 된 체크인 절차 및 안내가 미흡했습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 피곤했던 나머지 얼른 숙소로 올라갔고 숙소 확인결과 수건 등이 제대로 갖춰져있지 않아서 다시 요청을 하였고 직원분들이 바빴던 나머지 제대로 챙겨주지 않아서 저녁식사 후 들어오는 길에 직접 챙기려고 카운터에 전달을 하고 나갔으나 이마저도 제대로 전달이 안되서 본인들이 없는 방에 수건만 놓고 나간것을 식사 후 알게되었습니다. 그래도 피곤한 나머지 최대한 일찍 잠을 청했고 다음날 아침 8시30분부터 드릴소리와 망치질 소리에 편안한 잠과 휴식을 취하기가 어려웠습니다. 저는 호스트에서 투숙객으로써 최소한의 제안을 드리고 싶습니다. 최소한으로 투숙객을 위하는 마음이 있는 호텔이라면 투숙객 이 조금이라도 편하게 쉬다갈 수 있는 환경을 만들어주셨으면 합니다. 1. 호텔과 bar를 함께 운영하려면 카운터를 맡는 직원들을 좀더 늘려야 될거 같습니다. (저녁시간때 기준 2명이 bar와 호텔을 같이 운영하는건 무리가 있어 보입니다.) 2. 투숙객들이 머무르는 시간만큼은 최소한의 배려로 공사나 소음이 발생할만한 일들은 자제하시기 바랍니다. 3. 4,5성급 호텔이라는 이름에 맞게 투숙객들이 bar에 놀러온 손님들과 별도로 편안하게 쉴 수 있는 공간은 마련되었으면 합니다. 체크인&체크아웃까지 굵직하게 불편했던 부분들만 얘기드리니 이런 부분이 시정된다면 보다 나은 숙소로 거듭날것이라고 생각됩니다. 그외 숙소의 청결함과 조식의 품질 등은 좋은 편이었습니다~!!(내부 인테리어도 개성있게 잘 꾸며진거 같았습니다.)

Very glad we booked the balcony, ended our evening with a very tasty cocktail from the bar outside watching the world go by. Everyone that worked there were really friendly. The room was lovely and airy, and having a Marshall speaker to connect to was a great touch. The room was quite bright in the morning, because everything in there is white, this wasn’t a problem for us at all as I always sleep with an eye mask anyway. A brilliant location, on a really vibrant street with some great amenities nearby. We will definitely come again when next in London!

Perfect central location for walking, seeing the sights and taking the train or buses around the city! Breakfast was great with a good selection. Croissants were amazing!! Rooms are tiny with an open glass shower.. curtain only shields the bed. Air con needs instructions printed on the wall. Limited space in the room so decorative speaker and amp could go providing additional space. Definitely would stay here again and recommend the hotel to others!

I stay in this hotel for 1 day.it was really nice and clean and tidy hotel.staff was really friendly. And the good thing about that hotel it located in the heart of city where outside busy with friendly people the always waves you when you look out from the window. Shower is really good specially for couples. Definitely stay there next time .highly recommend this hotel.thanks

Absolutely—I’d include it in the section about the missing room amenities, as it really reinforces how odd the experience was. I stayed at Ruby Lucy for two nights this week, paying £342 per night, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The first frustration came at check-in. Everything is centred around digital self check-in and creating your own room key. It’s not the warm welcome you’d expect at this price point, although I have to say the majority of the staff we encountered afterwards were genuinely lovely and very friendly. The rooms are incredibly small, and for over £340 a night I simply couldn’t believe what was missing. There was no bottled water, no tea or coffee making facilities, no fridge, no iron or ironing board, and not even basic bathroom items such as cotton wool pads or buds. When I questioned this, I was told, “That’s the concept.” Unfortunately, it’s a concept I just don’t understand. Having to get dressed every morning and walk down the corridor just to make an instant Nescafé coffee in a paper cup felt ridiculous for a hotel charging this kind of money. Even more bizarre was discovering that if you wanted to iron your clothes, you were expected to do so on an ironing board positioned in the corridor opposite the lifts. Die Lage ist super ( Nähe U Bahn), Personal sehr zuvorkommend, Industrie Style, sauber und ausreichend Platz in dem Zimmer ( Single im DZ Zimmer). Frühstück nicht gebucht.

Great location, loved the balcony space, clean & modern room, friendly staff. The air conditioning worked well. Unfortunately there was no fridge in the room. Tea and coffee was in the corridor along with the ironing board. The noise at night from the street (there’s a busy pub opposite the hotel) was really loud into the early hours.

The Ruby Lucy hotel is decent for the price but I wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel. The rooms are VERY small. There isn't a proper enclosed washroom; the sink is outside the toilet in the room itself. The location is fantastic - just 10 minute walk from The London Eye and all the major tourist attractions. There are also great food options nearby. The location is really what you are paying for The staff are really friendly and helpful. Overall, would recommend if you are a tourist and are looking essentially for a place to sleep, but I really would classify this as more of a 3 star hotel.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very energetic and smiley Emily, she was very friendly and made checking in a streamlined process. We had a Wow room on the 3rd floor which was very nice, only downside for us was a few ants in the room which we assume had come in from the balcony.. We enjoyed a drink in the lounge when we got back in the evening from our evening out, and made use of the maxi bar for hot drinks.. We paid extra to include breakfast, what we had was nice, but for us we're not sure it was great value for money. All in all a nice stay. Thank you.

Lovely clean hotel the only thing that let it down was the bed, it was very comfy but because of it’s location it meant I had to be climbed over for my partner to use the toilet in the middle of the night

Great room, very clean, helpful staff.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, the staff is great, especially Aki. My only comment is that the shower floor is treacherously slippery!
