The Hotel has that classis elegance that makes it stand out. Last time we were there the room was furnished with good quality old furniture. This time we ended in a room with very modern approach. We are not sure which one we liked most.

Excellent location and very spacious room with kitchen facilities. Air conditioning could not be altered and the room was freezing. The shower was nice but either scalding hot or cold.

The central location of this hotel is fantastic - it's so close to everything in the CBD. The parking situation is hard to navigate, particularly with current roadworks. The Royal Albert has vintage charm and is clean. Some attention to detail is needed, but it didn't distract from a great stay.

The room was very dirty, carpet is badly stained and looks terrible. The air-conditioning barely works and with 4 people in the room it struggles to cool. The fold out couch bed was broken and couldn't be used.

This is a broken hotel. Right from the carpet smell to all equipment are broken condition. Added to this is parking complications. I would say no to anyone planning to book here. My worst stay. The only compliment was one of the receptionist trying to solve the problem. No no no for any tourist families.

The Royal Albert Hotel is so convenient being right in the CBD. During our stay we went for many walks to see all the Christmas decorations & lights, everything was so close by. We enjoyed a perfect stay with the staff being very attentive & explained everything very well to us.

What I liked most about this hotel were the location and their staff. It took about 10 minutes walking to the trains but I don't mind the walking. The hotel was like right in the center of CBD surrounded by many shops, restaurants, etc. And their staff was so helpful and courtesy. Also, you would need your key room to access the hotel after hours so I felt pretty safe staying in this hotel

Sehr großes Apartment mit Wohnzimmer und Küche. Sehr zentrale Lage direkt an der Fußgängerzone und trotz Baustelle vor dem Gebäude sehr ruhig. Alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal. Man wurde jedes Mal gegrüßt wenn man kam oder ging.

The curtains in the room were falling down in the centre and at one end. We asked reception to get them fixed but we were told as there were no staff to do that it would not happen until the next day. We asked for another room but were told they were at capacity. We asked for a reduction in the room price and were told to email management, which we did. We have received no reply to our email. There are also about 5 or 6 stairs within in approx a couple of metres of entering the room that lead down into the sleeping and living area. The toilet/bathroom is to the left at the top of these stairs. The stairs were not mentioned or shown in the photos of the delux room we booked. We consider the stairs a safety hazard and would have liked to have been informed about them.
