Overall tidy and clean. However seating is bit vanished and with marks, the edges of the bathtub also not very clean. My room is on 6th floor with a nice view, love the sunshine getting through the window with the peal river view. The mini fridge however is terrible, it's not installed firmly and shaking, so it's not suitable to put in anything at all. Overall i am happy with my stay considering the rooms size , the view and the price of it. ( Roofttop bar is absolutely a plu if you like a drink with the night river view )

Right off the bat, I want to acknowledge that the rest of the staff team across housekeeping and other touchpoints were helpful, polite, and courteous. Unfortunately, one particular counter staff member significantly undermined the entire experience. Upon arrival, we were told rather curtly that only 1 out of our 3 rooms was ready, despite the fact that we were already more than an hour past the official check-in time. No estimated waiting time was given, and we were left sitting around aimlessly. When asked for clarification, the staff member cited a late check-out due to an event. That explanation does not justify making paying guests wait indefinitely. After another 15 minutes, we asked again and were given the same response. Only after I pushed back did the staff suddenly offer alternative rooms that were already available. It was baffling that this option existed all along but was only presented after nearly an hour of unnecessary waiting. To add insult to injury, the hotel had emailed us in advance requesting our estimated arrival time. We arrived approximately one hour later than planned due to a flight delay and yet the rooms were still not ready. This points to weak operational planning and poor guest handling at the front desk.

The hotel front desk is really helpful. Housekeeping should improve. The hotel is dated. It was probably a very nice boutique hotel when it was first opened. Overall, a pleasant stay if you don’t expect bells and whistles. Great location.

Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. A short walk from the subway, but the lovely view of the Pearl River makes up for it. The only downside was that the shower area was a little drafty/ chilly, as there is an open window/ counter at the bathtub area, hence the air-con blows in. There was also an occasional stench in the toilet area, but nothing overpowering. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again when we next visit.

I wouldn’t call this a boutique hotel. Rooms were tired but clean enough. Awful smell coming from toilet that I mentioned a couple of times, nothing done. It was really bad in the 2 rooms we had booked. Breakfast was okay / a la carte. Lighting in bathroom terrible. Location not too bad. Staff friendly enough.
