Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful for our whole stay. The facilities were solid, and though the deposit was a surprise, it was quickly returned.

We were very grateful for a room so close to Anfield and the staff were absolutely lovely, but the free parking wasn't available as they have more rooms than parking spaces and we were about worried parking on the roadside, which it was suggested we do instead.
We slept quite well, despite doors outside our room that regularly slam loudly. We couldn't shower in the morning though as the water literally just trickles out. This was blamed on too many guests showering at once, but another guest said it was the same at midnight when it's unkikely anyone else was showering. Not being able to shower isn't really acceptable at any price.
Breakfast was okay - a continental buffet with cereal, pastries, toast, fruit and cereal.
Liverpool won, so overall a great trip!

Worst experience so far in UK .There was no internet was down all stay .Heating system was off ,had to wait in cold for some time to get heat back .Bathroom draining was not properly working ,it was uncomfortable to have a shower .

The hotel was clean and comfortable. All the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. The hotel appears dated but the more you look around the communal areas it was quite quaint.
It is a couple of miles outside the city centre but ideal for us as we were visiting friends in the Kensington area of Liverpool.

Stay was ok. But the stairway up to the room was dirty. The rooms are tatty. There was someone else’s sock over the smoke detector.
Only one pillow each on the beds and no spares in the cupboard.
No parking available when we arrived so we had to park on the roadside. Car park is narrow.
Door locked when we arrived at around 10pm which is understandable but not easy to work out how to get access.
Food at breakfast was packet dry pastries, meat, cheese, limited cereals and salads.

Unfortunately I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. Not good value for money. The place is very tired and in need of a lot of attention and the bed was so uncomfortable that I barely slept. I stay in liverpool frequently and pay similar prices for a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay. On a positive note the staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean.
