The location of the property is good. However, the staff doesn't understand anything from customer service. They don't know how to treat you. Another problem is that they always close their entrace gate, and when you ring the door, you have wait for minutes for the door to be opened despite they see you outside.

Excellent base for the centre of Coventry -cathedrals and museum very close.not the poshest of places (wouldn’t take my wife!)but basic and adequate. Disappointed with breakfast ,coffee machine not working limited range of food -I didn’t go hungry but nothing special.

It's a reasonably priced hotel, and my expectations were not high. Broadly the hotel met my expectations, I got a decent sleep, staff were friendly, right in Coventry centre, the lifts worked. But it's tired, and clearly needs a big investment to bring it up to today's standards. If you just need somewhere to sleep for a night, it's fine, but if you want a great all around "vibe", it's not the place to go for.

Like all Britannia hotel I have stayed in this is tiered dirty, restaurant was also closed with no food in the bar. Room was tiered dated mattress very basic for a hotel bathroom dirty and hot tap didn’t work properly. It’s a really shame as the staff are lovely and helpful. Hotel just needs serious investment.

The two people behaved very badly. The first time I asked if they had any rooms available and they said no, but when I looked, they had rooms and I took a room for 2 people, but when I got the key, they said that only one person can stay. Racist behavior.

Checking in staff member was not particularly friendly - which didn't set the tone well for the trip. Having not stayed in a hotel for a few years, I wasn't aware that we now needed photo ID to check in. I don't drive, and I didn't have my passport on me. Luckily I found a picture I'd taken of my passport in my storage. But the staff member was not particularly sympathetic or gracious, and had I not had such a picture on me I'm presuming I wouldn't have been allowed to stay?

Key selling proposition of the hotel is amazing location, around the high street next to Coventry bus stop which makes it very convenient to explore around the city centre. Hassle free commute to in and around the city makes the hotel’s location quite lucrative. Hotel is dated but has well maintained clean rooms. However, far end rooms can be quite noisy until late night hours. Hotel staff is friendly and check in’s are always quick and hassle free. Overall a great value for money specifically for business trips.
