Great location with parking. Check in was smooth and the staff polite and friendly.
Lovely room, super clean with all amenities you could need, towels, shower gel, kettle etc.
Only down side was the light up fire exit signs on the wall next to the bed, it didn’t bother me but my other half struggled to sleep with it.
We would absolutely stay again and have no qualms about recommending it.
Top tip, the Turkish restaurant “Shiraz” down the road is excellent. Less than 5 minute walk, the food is delicious, amazing cocktails and the loveliest, friendliest staff I’ve come across for a long time! This has become our pre holiday tradition now.

Great to know yr car is safe on the premises. Staff excellent. Near to airport and very near to bars and shops. Although a little dated serves its purpose.

Good stay, walked from LGW to the lodge, then back in the morning (personally wouldn’t recommend most doing this I just like walking). Bed was comfy, lodge was very close to several places to eat.

The lodge was very convenient to Gatwick, the train station and the town. We had requested a ground floor room and received it along with early check in. Bathroom is tiny with no shelf space for toiletries. There were no hooks or hangers which was awkward. Maybe our expectations are different, but we had a total of one bath towel each for two nights - no hand towel or bath mat either. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on that.

I wasn't aware of the availability of breakfast. The man who I checked in with at the front counter didn't mention anything about breakfast.
The washroom is a bit cramped and it took me a bit to figure out the shower faucet. There were also a few tiny bugs crawling on the bathroom floor.

Appreciated the communication before arriving, check in was super fast, just handed me my key, brilliant. No WiFi password given and couldn't reach hosts to get that. Caused me a problem on my trip as used that data before leaving. Please make it clear in the room how to access WiFi if you don't provide any documentation at check in. Some non-caffeinated drink options (sachet of decaf coffee?) would be nice as many are there to get up early for the airport.

Basic clean hotel, friendly staff and room comfortable enough, perhaps bring your own pillow as lumpy. Excellent location and 7min walk from station, buses 30sec walk away to Gatwick. Ear plugs probably a good idea as you can hear the water system. Amazing value
