Have stayed here numerous times and everything is spot on.Very helpful and friendly staff to a amazing breakfast.The rooms are immaculate and spotless.There is everything in your room that you will need and a town centre location is great.Would not stay anywhere else when visiting Leeds.

Our stay was extremely disappointing and far below the standard we expect from Marriott. I feel compelled to warn others, especially if you're expecting a comfortable night's sleep. Our visit coincided with a town parade, making access difficult due to multiple road closures. While this wasn't the hotel's fault, they did well by sending an email ahead to suggest where to park. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were polite and helpful, but we were surprised by a £50 deposit that wasn't clearly highlighted during booking. The problems continued in our room. The TV didn't work, and there wasn't even a remote control. We had to contact reception twice before it was resolved. Although the staff responded promptly, these basic checks should have been completed before our arrival. The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which simply didn't work. Despite setting it to 18°C, the room remained unbearably hot. Opening the window wasn't an option because of loud music outside the hotel that continued late into the night. None of us slept properly. My son spent the night tossing and turning, and we all woke up exhausted. A hotel's most basic responsibility is to provide a comfortable place to sleep, and this hotel failed completely. Breakfast was average, with nothing that made up for the terrible night we'd had. If you're staying here during warm weather or busy town events, think twice, you could end up paying for a sleepless, uncomfortable night.

Great location which is why we keep coming back. Communal areas have been modernised and the executive lounge is decent with some nice touches of snacks and alcohol at certain times. We often stay in the junior suite which is really spacious but the bathroom is dated and in a four star suite should have a walk in shower rather than shower over the bath. If that were to get upgraded along with some of the furniture in the room it would be perfect. Good to have Gino’s restaurant attached, always decent food and good cocktails.

Pros:- early check in, late check out appreciated. Looked after case next day. Breakfast excellent. Room clean. Cons:- offered late check out, but hadn't been booked on system. Asked for bed sheet as warm weather. Had to ask 3 times until we got one. Bed too firm. Air conditioning poor, set to 18 degrees but got nowhere near 18 degrees, it was also very noisy.

The location is fantastic for the city centre. Executive rooms are a good size and airy. Our room had been recently renovated, with new mattress etc. staff are friendly and helpful. Executive lounge is a great addition.

The hotel and the hotel staff were excellent. It was a really nice touch to be welcomed in reception with a cold drink on one of the hottest days the UK has seen. The hotel is in an ideal central location close to the railway station, shop and restaurants. The room was good everything working perfectly, really good big screen tv for the football My review would have scored the hotel much, much higher but my problem was the Gino D'Acampo restaurant attached to the hotel, this guy is supposed to be a top notch chef, he needs to do more than just put his name to an expensive restaurant. The food was dreadful: bland arancini with a back ground taste of cleaning fluid, carbonara pasta with curdled eggs, tomato and mozzarella salad with poor acidic tomatoes. Slow off hand service from the staff. On complaining about the food and the service, we were eventually given a reduction in the bill but honestly if a customer complains about the food and you don't even ask what was wrong with it! The Marriott need to part company with this restaurant.
