I have stayed in countless hotels over the years but The Sir Christopher Wren has to be one of the best . The location was perfect, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and the food both at breakfast and for evening meals was top quality. I can`t find a single thing I wasn`t happy with. Dave Duff

Staff were excellent. Breakfast and restaurant area were great. Our room though was looking a bit tired. The headboard was smaller than the bed and was loose. The duvet cover was split. A beautiful old hotel on the river right by the castle. Everything was great but be aware, there are no elevators and quite a lot of stairs and corridors if you stay in the main building.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, right on the River Thames next to the bridge to Eton and near Windsor Castle. It was easily walkable to everything. The restaurant was lovely with a view of the river and swans, and the food was great! It was the only hotel I stayed at in England that included breakfast, so that was much appreciated. The only negative is the amount of stairs. There is no lift, and I had to climb five sets of stairs to my room. It wasn't easy with a large heavy suitcase. That is just a caution to anyone who has trouble with stairs. However, the positives far out-weigh the negative, and I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment one walks in, the staff is professional and the entryway is welcoming! My room was immaculate, the furnishings and bathroom were beautifully decorated, and the outside patio overlooking the Thames cannot be equaled. It is so close to the castle and shops. This was truly the best stay of my trip to England.
