The dining room is undergoing renovations and it can get noisy in the morning. Part of the dining area is closed off and it got a bit noisy during breakfast, and the elevator area was dusty and a bit dirty. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, the staff kind, friendly and very efficient, and the location is great.

The hotel is nice, the family room we had was big and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the location, it’s centrally located and you can go anywhere by foot within 5-10 min. Breakfast is good with a very nice view of the acropolis. The only thing I didn’t like in the hotel was the staff. The reception guys were terrible, so much not nice and not flexible. Didn’t help us with nothing and humiliated us. Just because of that I would less recommend this hotel.

The location is super convenient—you can easily walk to places like the Acropolis and Plaka. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast—great spread, fresh food, and lots of authentic Greek options. Highly recommend this hotel!

Location is good, close to everything. Close to Acropolis, shoppings, restaurants. How ever, the hardwear for the hotel is low. I’m especially talking about the towel. They r grey color, doesn’t look clean to me….

Im Allgemeinen bin ich mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Nur beim Frühstück habe ich frisches Gemüse vermisst. Es gab buchstäblich nur Tomaten und Gurken.

The Astor is an 8 minute walk with a 23kg bag from the blue train line at Syntagma station to the front reception desk. It has a fabulous view of the Acropolis at the breakfast area. There are two convenience stores within 100 metres of the front reception desk. There are numerous bakeries and coffees shops aswell very nearby. Breakfast is very decent. I would rate the hotel value for money and very well positioned for a few days in this ancient capital.

L'emplacement est vraiment super : proche du métro pour l'aéroport, dans un quartier calme mais proche des centres touristiques etc... Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel sur Athènes.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Astor Hotel. The staff were wonderful, and the family room perfect for our needs. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and the setting exceptional, with a fabulous view of the Acropolis. The location is excellent for all of the archeological sites and to feel part of this vibrant city.
