Hyatt Regency Amritsar Hotel & Spa

Room was clean and staff was very courteous. I wish the bathroom was not so small. It felt like I was sitting in bathroom even when I was in room.

Nice room over looking pool and GT Road, staff was amazing, very helpful.

The check in experience was not great at all took over 45 minutes to check us in. Nit the best experience in a 5 star hotel

The hotel is average. Customer service, hotel staff response time, and courtesy is excellent. Here is what I did not like - housekeeping banging the doors shut multiple times during the cleaning process, dirty and smelly carpets, someone was spot painting the scuff marks from the wall and the hallway was smelling of paint, our room was not equipped for 3 guests for example we had 2 coffee cups, 2 towels and 2 sets each of bathrooms accessories. The hotel is located next to a busy highway and you can hear the horns and noise inside your room (we were on 17th floor). There is a mall next to the hotel which is great but the rest of the area around the hotel is dusty, and noisy certainly not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. The room was fairly small. The desk next to the bathroom door has sharp corners. Certainly not safe for kids and older adults. It can cause serious injury if they bump into it. The window drapes are blackout which is great to keep the room dark during the day except that the drapes are poorly installed as sunlight peeks through the hook area where the drapes hang from. We reached after a long 26 hours flight and wanted to get some shut eye during the day but the room was too bright to sleep. The breakfast buffet had great options. We had enjoyed it very much. One last thing the hotel staff must encourage no noise policy in the hallway. People are having loud conversations in the hallway, kids are running, and dirty room service dinnerware are noisy.

Hotel was as expected from a Hyatt Hotel. Have visited many different Hyatt’s while on my travels around the globe and feel comfortable and relaxed when booking with Hyatt. Hyatt Amritsar was a pleasant stay and to the high standards as expected. Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. I have no issues or concerns with regard to my stay and look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful stay !

Staff no corporate

I chose this property instead of other Marriot hotels and it did not meet my expectations, the rooms are poorly kept. For exemple, the flooring is so old it pinched my feet while walking and pillows are literally empty pillow cases. Also for the price the rooms are very small compact.I would choose wisely before booking here again.

Lovely, clean, safe place to stay!

Very helpful and try to accommodate you as far as they possibly can. Breakfast time is only until 10am.

To me, this was not up to the standard I would expect in a Hyatt Regency Hotel. The floor was very noisy; I complained a couple of times, but it made no difference. The room was very small. Breakfast was nice. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

great staff - very helpful and attentive

This is a great property in Amritsar. Staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are adequately sized and kept clean. The breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of choice of Indian and western items. There is also a nice shopping mall right next to the hotel where you can spend some time looking for clothes and other items. I’d definitely stay at this Hyatt again.
