Very central, within walking to the Zocalo and All kinds of places to go. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great value and very affordable. It will be better if it had a TV But the Mgr. Luz said they are working on it. Once they get tvs, it would be excellent. It has a decent Workout room.

Good food and clean room

The room was more than adequate. Wished for brighter lighting. Noise from adjacent rooms was an issue at times. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location.

No t.v., no clock, and no amenities. Room and bathroom were poorly lit, as was the lobby. No hotel sign on the exterior of hotel, so it was hard to identify initially.

Issues with room, safety and health. Expedia nor do the hotel do anything to make things right for us. There was pieces of rock and dirt falling from the ceiling. Proof was provided to Expedia and Hotel staff. Hotel manager said we needed to provided a Dr note? To receive any sort of compensation.

Clean, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Very quiet at night. Many cafes, restaurants, stores, museums, etc. within walking distance. Excellent location. I stayed here for nine days, and would definitely return in future!

I booked a Deluxe Studio Suite at Colmena Hotel CDMX Centro and had a terrible experience. From the first day after check in, many basic items were missing. There was no soap for hands or shower, no tissues, no hair dryer despite several requests, an empty minibar and a complimentary bottle of wine that was promised at booking but never delivered. Communication was very difficult because no staff member spoke English, so everything had to be handled through a translation app. There was no drinking water in the room. Guests had to go down from the third floor every time to refill water and even buy their own bottles outside the hotel. I was also told multiple times that I had to wash my own dishes, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be three stars. The worst incident happened on a Sunday afternoon when I returned to find my room door wide open with a staff keychain left in the lock. No employee was around and anyone could have entered my room. This was extremely unsafe. Housekeeping was very poor. For two weeks the room was never properly cleaned, only the bed was made. Floors and bathroom stayed dirty and hair was left everywhere. Even tipping the cleaning staff changed nothing. The bathroom door was broken and never repaired. There was no air conditioning, no heating and the window was not sealed properly. In the last week the couch in my room was removed after it collapsed during cleaning and was never replaced. This hotel is badly, poorly maintained. Avoid it!

Excelente ubicación, los cuartos y las áreas comunes siempre están limpias y el servicio es excelente, el personal es muy amables. Lo único que no me gustó fueron las toallas de baño porque están viejas y las almohadas están muy usadas y no son cómodas.

Todo estuvo Perfecto, excelente personal solo como comentario pongan TV en todas las habitaciones jeje

They need a better sign in the front. Everything else was amazing.

It was good but is was to many noise and shower head was liquid water at night and also the water was running to loud at night like the was showering or cleaning something upstairs

La ubicación es muy céntrica y el lugar es muy bonito, pero si vas en vehiculo es un poco complicado llegar debido al tráfico. No tienen parqueo, fue dificil desmontarnos a dejar las maletas ya que la calle es muy estrecha, y todavia mas incómodo encontrar un parqueo ya que todos quedaban a varias cuadras lejos del lugar. Pagamos 600 pesos mexicanos adicionales por el parqueo. No tengo quejas en cuanto a la habitación, muy cómoda, el lugar es tranquilo y ofrecen desayuno.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot water with great pressure AND friendly staff. I look forward to next time!
