Pleasant overnight stay.

Check in was quick and friendly. Offered a high or low room preference. Room very clean and welcoming. Discount on the adjacent car park as well. Ate in the Hopscotch restaurant, while the food was good and very limited selection. Overall enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

The property was lovely and in a great location for the hydro which is across the road from it. Parking in the multi storey site behind the hotel is ideal and the hotel validated the ticket so that it's only £12 instead of £24 for 24 hrs. The hotel is dog friendly, our westie loved it. Our only complaint is there's not a decent place to sit with our dog when you pay for the buffet breakfast, we were sat a tiny table which is more suitable for having drinks than eating. The night before we were able to take her into the restaurant and eat at a proper table which was much more comfortable. If they allow dogs then it would make sense to have a part of the restaurant where they are allowed at all times and not depending on the staff running the restaurant. That's the only issue we had. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and can't do enough to help.

We stayed here to watch Toto at the Hydro. The hotel was brilliant - really clean and comfortable. The rooms are large as well. Bathroom was spotless and they even supply flannels. The staff were very helpful and just generally lovely. Location wise it's a 2 min walk to the Hydro. The train station is a 5 mins walk and then it's a 3 min train journey to Glasgow city centre (£2.10 for a return). Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We arrived after storm Eowyn had caused problems in Scotland. The hotel was quiet, lots of events had been cancelled. Reception staff greeted us, explained the 'usual' information, wifi, car park charges, breakfast. What they failed to say was rather than face the still high wind and rain on way back from car park, park the car on level two, and use the connecting door directly into the hotel. We only realised this fact when leaving two days later. On reaching our room, we were pleased with how clean everywhere was. It seemed obvious that the room was newly decorated by the slight smell of new plaster. Then you look a little closer, damage to paintwork was evident, electrical plug sockets not fitted level on the wall (which made you think unsafe to use), light fitting (reading lamp at bed) literally hanging (swinging) off the wall. The bathroom, the sliding glass door looked great, but not very practical. The lock on it, flimsy. The toilet was fitted onto the wall about 4" too high!! Im 5'7" tall. Im not short, im not tall, my legs were swinging, i felt like a child!! I can never understand why those 'hose guides' are fitted shower hose, that can be lifted out of its holder, but restricted. On occasions when you dont want wet hair, or you want to shower a child without getting water in their face, those little bits of restrictive plastic are an absolute joke. Breakfast was a dried up buffet. The bread crusty, bacon awful, just not great considering cost!

Great location, nice, modern and spacious family room, friendly staff. The only downside was elevators which didn’t work so good creating big queues and room was a bit cold. Otherwise great experience, would definitely recommend

Excellent place to stay for our needs. We hade adjacent rooms which was very helpful. Lounge area is great and parking is right beside the hotel

Last minute decision to stay over whilst attending event at the OVO. The location is perfect and a decent standard of hotel. There is no room service and due to late booking, no availability in the restaurant for dinner. There was an issue with the lifts, 2 of the 3 broken at one stage although one was fixed during our stay. Queues at the bar after the event put us off even trying so opted for the queue to the lift instead! Went for a walk in the morning returning in plenty time to return to the room prior to check out time to find we’d been locked out of room. Went back to reception to sort out issue to find card still not allowing access. Not a great experience considering the cost of the room (almost £200). It is convenient but there are other hotels in the area.

Very handy for events at the hydro. Room is ideal for the occasion.

Great hotel, very modern, clean and very comfortable. My only complaint is that they didn't have water in the room, you had to purchase bottles water from reception. Other than that no issues and would definitely return.

reservei um quarto de 40 m2 que é mais caro que os outros quartos, chegando lá me disseram que não havia o quarto disponível e não foi me oferecido nada pra compensar o erro, nem um pedido de desculpa ao menos. atendente simplesmente falou que não tinha o quarto da reserva.

Good stay

Bathroom was really smelly from the pipes. But location was great for SEC . Bed super comfy also.

Nice hotel but price of drinks in bar was ridiculous.
