I must say reading some reviews I was apprehensive about this hotel however all that went away the minute we stepped in. FYI they charge 100 CHF a day deposit which you get back end of your stay and they take this immediately at check in. You also get charged city tax around 25CHF at the end of your trip. The hotel staff and location are amazing. The staff are so good they helped me out with everything I asked and our room was spotless. The location is fantastic just mins away from the station and central to restaurants and shopping centres. Yes there is noise at night from people partying but theres a rooftop bar above you and bars outside too so why are people surprised by this lol. We had that one night until 1am but it was expected and that's fine. Overall great hotel lovely staff fantastic location and I can definitely say I will 100% return to this hotel again. Thank you Hotel Astoria!!❤️

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible! The location is truly unbeatable—right in the heart of Lucerne, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The staff was unbelievably sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even helping us coordinate public transportation.
The cleanliness was exceptional, and the breakfast far exceeded our expectations with a variety of delicious options. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop bar—breathtaking views and the perfect place to unwind.
A special shoutout to Tommy! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about creating a great experience for us. He went above and beyond in every way.
We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 🌟🇨🇭✨

The hotel was centrally located near the train station and Old Town. There were excellent restaurants located in the hotel. The room was very nice and there was in-room coffee which we appreciated! We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend.

Like our room with city view, spacious nice clean bathroom with showers &tub. Suggestion: provide kettle with tea bags as most hotels, reconfigure closets spaces as it’s not easy to access for us. We end up laying our outerwear’s on the couch

Es war sehr laut in der Nacht wegen des Clubs nebenan. Wir konnten fast nicht schlafen.
Frühstücksbuffet war auch nichts spezielles und das Personal leider unfreundlich und sah die Arbeit nicht die gemacht werden sollte.
Für den Preis leider nicht wieder.

Das Zimmer war richtig schön. Mir persönlich fehlte ein Haken für den Mantel in der Nähe der Türe und ein warmer Fußboden im Bad. Der war beim Zähneputzen am Morgen eiskalt und es war Winter.

Room was clean & hotel was in good location, but. Woken up every single morning around 7/8am onwards by chairs just constantly getting dragged around the floors EVERY single morning and would continue into the early afternoon. The room was constanly warm the first thing we did on arrival was turn heating off and open the window and it just didn't make a difference the room was way too hot.
