Great staff.

The team and service were fantastic. VEry accommodating with late check-out when possible. The hotel itself is beautiful, but there was major construction happening in the pool area, with loud noise throughout the day. I wish I had known about the renovation ahead of time, as I likely would have chosen to stay elsewhere during that period.

Great resort and attention to detail by the staff. Some of the things stated were cancelled due to private events which was disappointing. Having said that, it was a lovely resort.

Stunning

The room was beautiful, modern and clean and I really enjoyed my time at Kimpton kitalay. All the facilities were great. The surrounding area was peaceful. The hotel is really popular among families so keep that in mind if you are looking for adults-only holiday.

Fantastic resort with the warmest staff

The villa with a private pool and beach access was a mixed experience. While the private pool was excellent, the overall design of the villa left much to be desired—the bathroom and closet were in separate structures, requiring us to go through multiple doors just to access them. There was no proper work sitting area, which made it inconvenient for those needing a workspace. The hotel’s beachfront was disappointing—the grass around the villa was not maintained, the beach was not cleaned, and the waters in front of the hotel were full of rocks, making them unusable. The hotel made no effort to clear them or provide any special beach facilities for guests, and service on the beach was nonexistent. Service overall was polite but not at the level of pampering we expected from a 5-star hotel in Thailand. Dinner at the hotel was below par and overpriced, as was the BBQ night on the beach. However, the seafood restaurant was excellent. Overall, while the villa’s private pool and polite staff were positives, the lack of maintenance, poor design choices, and underwhelming dining experiences make it hard to justify the price. A decent stay, but not the luxury experience we expected.

It's a great new modern hotel with super friendly staff. Good location as well and a nice beach. Great breakfast, good restaurant, nice family activities. My only feedback is the cold water in pools. They are not heated and I think I saw maybe 2-4 people in the water during our 2-day stay. It seems common in Koh Samui not to have heated pools, but it felt a bit wasted to have the pool outside your room with direct access but it was painful to jump in. But it would not be right of me to give any other review than 5 stars, thanks to the very friendly hotel staff.

The hotel is incredible!!!!!

The room was good but I had some issues with the balcony and I didn’t get proper service. Location is not the best, not much to see or do outside of the resort.

Hotel is nice and staff very friendly. However the hotel is not a 5- star hotel, specifically when it comes to food and and service in the restaurants. This is a 4 star hotel, specially compared to the six senses, which is approximately the same price

It's one of our favourite hotels in Samui! Every single member of staff was very very friendly - we honestly felt like home! We were impressed with little details such as - the hotel learned our routine (e.g. we kept ordering a bucket of ice for 2 nights in a row, the next day a bucket of ice was proactively delivered to our room), or "sweet dreams" postcards and sweet snacks delivery before bed time. Thank you Kimpton Team!

Fairly new hotel, amazing staff, great service, great rooms, very pet friendly.

Traveled with my 2kg yorkie and we are so happy to have found a new hotel that is comfortable, beautifully decorated and also pet friendly!!! (some hotels allow your dog in the room but not at the restaurants, pool or beach areas. We extended our stay for a few more days!! The staff is very nice and helpful, the food at the restaurants is really good. We would come back !!

El hotel ha superado mis expectativas con creces. Es un hotel puesto con mucho gusto y detalle, y el trato del personal es excelente y exclusivo. Es el mejor hotel en el que me he alojado. El desayuno es excepcional, variedad de alimentos y platos, sin embargo el servicio de los restaurante de pago por la noche, difiere mucho del buen servicio que se da en el hotel. Tardan mucho en atenderte y la calidad es regular. En cualquier caso, el hotel es excelente.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. Service is a bit hit or miss and the high standards of the room and bar are not replicated in other areas especially the pool and beach furniture. Also it is a kids and family hotel so if you want peace and a pool without kids playing then book another hotel.
