Phi Phi Chang Grand Resort & Spa

Price are bit high for the condition of the room. Dirty, smelly, and a lot of insect. After we came back from exploring the island, we saw a big cockroach running out from the bed. We really want to leave but we already pay and it non refundable and all the hotel on the island is booked so we just have to deal with the situation. It was horrible experience

The room wasn’t clean, the floor was sticky, I stayed two night and in both of them I had to kill cockroaches in my room, the electronic lock didn’t work properly, I had to stay several minutes in front of my door waiting for it to work EVERY SINGLE TIME. Reception was left unattended multiple times when I need to reach for help. I wouldn’t recommend this place!

The room we booked does not exist and Hotels.com will not take responsibility. My husband and I booked a deluxe villa for our honeymoon but upon arriving were told these were under construction. We were given a much smaller room with no windows. We were moved to two other rooms with broken AC and horrendously dirty bathrooms. Hotels.com have claimed they cannot get in touch with the hotel and therefore will not give us a refund. They clearly trust their hotels over their customers. Considering the hotel and Hotels.com are both at fault for advertising a room that doesn’t exist, we are shocked at their dismissal. We have been loyal customers for years and feel we have seen where their true priorities lie – with their hotels, allowing them to ignore calls and not take accountability for terrible service. The money back would mean a whole lot more to us than to a corporate like Hotels.com. Even accepting the refund as One Key Cash which essentially funnels back into their pocket was not offered. Hotels.com do not care about their customers.

Sehr ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem ist man schnell im Trubel. Leider liegt hinter dem Pool doch reichlich Müll rum. Vielleicht könnte man dort mal aufräumen. Sonst war eigentlich alles gut.

Établissement très bien placé au calme de la foule des touristes sans être trop éloigné des lieux d'animations. Dommage que nous ayons trouvé un mégot de cigarette dans la salle de bain à notre arrivée.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour l’île. Personnel à l’écoute des besoins

Das Hotel ist innerhalb einer schönen grünen natürlichen Umgebung mit einem großartigem und extrem sauberen Pool. Wir waren im „new wing“ und fanden das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis super. Es gibt immer Kaffee for free und der Pool ist 24/7 nutzbar. Wir fanden es super das es nicht direkt mitten in der quirligen Innenstadt ist - sondern in einer Nebengasse von der man dennoch in 5 min im Geschehen ist. Man hat auch einen schnellen Weg zum Strand. Das Personal ist super lieb und das Pony Nam Tan mehr als süß. Einzig das Badezimmer könnte etwas Reparatur am Waschbecken benötigen und minimale Verdichtungsarbeiten in der Dusche - nur Kleinigkeiten die sicherlich auf dem Schirm sind. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und freuen uns auf das nächste Mal :)

We loved this place!!! We stayed four nights and would have stayed longer if didn't already have other plans. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and so serene and peaceful. Very close to town and all the action, but far enough to give you a quiet oasis. The pool is so wonderful with amazing views of the hillsides. The staff are very generous with daily waters and coffee. They will hold your luggage for the hours needed before departing . Super fantastic place!!!

Room itself was clean and fine, but be wary of the location. It’s quite a way from the pier with no one to help you with your bags. It’s also (I found) not that obvious to find using maps. My room had no window which was a bit odd, but due to location you can’t hear the main strip at night which is good. Lady on reception was very nice and welcoming, but this wasn’t my favourite place tbh. Should’ve saved Phi Phi for just a day trip.

Room was alright and clean. It takes some time to walk there, but it is fine if you have the energy for it. A horse in the backyard.

If you want to avoid the overally touristy, loud centre of Phi Phi, this hotel is ideal. Still only a 15min walk from the pier, it's set back close to the look out point. The room we stayed in was basic, but clean & check in was easy. We spent very little time at the hotel as we were exploring the island, but many if the issues people mention in other reviews, we did not experience. For us, it was what we expected for the price we paid :) no complaints!

Great location (10 minute walk into town). Pool good size and can get sun beds. Had the basic room and was comfortable and did the job.

The only thing to like about this place is the pool and the horse that greets you in the morning, very dirty place , and the door lock is dodgey and so is the safe

A piscina é a única parte arrumadinha do hotel, o restante é decepcionante. No quarto as coisas são velhas e mal cuidadas, tem um cavalo solto no pátio e consequentemente tem sujeira para todo lado. Os atendentes tentam ser simpáticos, mas como não falam quase inglês dificulta bastante o entendimento.

El hotel es bonito, la piscina muy chevere, pero el servicio es muy malo, nos entregaron la habitación sucia principalmente el baño, solicite Jabon para el baño y nunca lo llevaron, tuvimos que pedir cambio de habitación porque me dieron una por la cual yo no había pagado.

Pool was nice. Horse was nice. Private bungalos were nice.

Spiders in the room, a horse in the reception??! awful service and angry personell. Don’t recommend this hotel. Nothing like the pictures.
