I didn’t say I ended up booking somewhere else once I checked in. The room was musty and had a terrible smell

Clean room, open and well lit dining room. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking was ok, but it could offer a better cost.

Few stray hairs in bathroom but otherwise very happy with our stay at Grosvenor - convenient location; staff were great & attentive. Enjoyed our stay! Thanks.

I wanted to thank the staff first, every single one I had an interaction with was very helpful, welcoming and happy to help with enquires from the cleaners to the front facing staff. The room was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable and was great to stay in for 5 nights!

Room was clean, one comfortable bed - second bed was hard

The room we where allocated was very poor,, it was best described and VERY much neglected. Dirty carpet, windows window sill . Dust covered the walls and vents. Ceilings had missing plaster and paint.

The breakfast was average in the range of food offered as there was no hot food available like bacon and eggs and mushrooms. The room was adequate however the carpets in the room and hallway need replacing.

The staff were really nice, but the room was very small and tired. The view out of our little window was looking at a brick wall and we struggled for a week with it being so small. The television volume is set at 30 so I couldn’t hear most channels when extractor fan and air con on.

Shower leaked all over our floor. No hand towels to dry hands on and the bed was so wonky to sleep on. Staff were wonderful and the place was quiet. Tv channels very limited for a city.

Staff are friendly, room wasnt great, thhere was splatters of toothpaste from previous occupants on the tiles, looked like left over fecal matter in the water in the toilet. The air conditioning is absolutely terrible, especially on hot days like yesterday, could not get comfortable. The tv in the room kept displaying an error with the HDMI cable.

I don’t usually like giving poor reviews and I guess when I booked a budget friendly accommodation I shouldn’t expect the finest things but my initial room had the previous guests food still in drawers and the fridge, once my room was moved it was slightly better. The place was busy and only 1 lift was functional well that was until the other lift also decided to break down so stairs were the only option or be stuck in your room/reception if your unable to use stairs for a few hours. The place just feels very ran down overall and the rooms very boxy.
