Amazing staffs, amenities were nice. They were offering local product. But the room was old.

The room was not that clean. There were spider webs on the walls and around the dining room light pendant. The environment around was beautiful, the staff was very nice and helpful.

Pros. The unit was super clean and well presented and well appointed and check in was efficient. They provide complementary bus passes to downtown Banff, pool area was nice and clean. Cons. Our unit was dark even with lights on

Hot tub was the highlight, having a wood burning fireplace was a close second.

Everything is really good for us.

Rooms are dated and could use a deep clean. We were missing a kitchen supplies as well as kindling for the fireplace.

We had a dog friendly room for our two Bernese Mountain Dogs. We made them aware in advance that one of our dogs has mobility issues and a ground level room would be preferred. This could not be accommodated so we had to carry the 90lb dog up and down a set of 9 steep stairs to access the room. The room itself was mostly carpet, with the ice melt and slush it made it absolutely dirty. We moved a sitting chair to find chunks of dirt and debris. If we are paying extra for cleaning because we have dogs... than make it easier to keep the room clean. It would have been nice to have a small vacuum or carpet sweeper available. We had to run dishes through the dishwasher in order to use them, they looked liked they had just been rinsed and put away by the previous guest. The hot tub was always busy, there was a second larger warm pool, but too cool for anyone to use it. There was ice melt all around the door way and the stairs to the changing area... I have no idea where you are supposed to remove your shoes to keep the area clean.... I guess wear sandals right up to the hot tub edge. The location is great if you want to have your own food in the suite, but not ideal if you are planning to use Banff's restaurants. The location is right next to the campground so there are plenty of trails if you are staying with dogs.

First night it was not hot enough in the hot tub. Missed hearing music while soaking as well. Staff was excellent.

Wonderful

Our first room smelt very badly of cigarette smoke and wasn’t clean, we then moved to another room that was badly damaged by fireplace smoke and had water damage along the ceiling, by then it was very late so we ended up staying for the night in that room and woke up with sore throats and so moved again as soon as we could in the morning to the third cabin that was at least surface clean and didn’t smell but one of the exterior doors didn’t seal properly and it was letting -25 degree air into the cabin the whole time. We had the furnace pretty high in order to complete with that. We were only staying 2 nights so told the staff about it but didn’t move as we just couldn’t be bothered anymore. Staff were pleasant, but we could tell they were getting a lot of unhappy customers as they seemed tired. It’s a very magical location in the winter with the snow and the views. Wish we had a better stay.

Such a lovely stay.We enjoy the hot pool. We will definetely be back.
