I stayed for two days i did get to check in early but the room was very funky the carpet was in desperate need of throwing away it was icky and sticky the bathroom wasn’t very clean and the shower head needs to be cleaned and adjustable o didnt see anyone cleaning the lobby or vacuuming the place those carpets are nasty Breakfast was more sweet treats there wasn’t anything good to eat and the towels in the room was dingy and old and stained And idk whats the deal with the ac/heater but that was a trick to use The rooms need to be updated and cleaned properly Good thing my stay was short

The room was filthy. The taps in the bathroom leaked, and it smelled of cigarettes. There was rust on the towel rack, and the towels were not vacuumed. There was no grout around the bathtub, and there were damages all over the walls and ceiling. The hallways and stairs were dirty.

Really bad experience The rooms are so smelly firstly i have to spray room freshner all over in my room. The staff is so bad they don’t even answer whenever i call the reception!. The cleaning people opens the door without even asking!. Moreover my 1-2 products are stolen when i was outside the hotel Don’t visit here guys … Baddest experience ever

First room had flooded bathroom. Second room had no hot water or heat after 2 hours. Third room was ok but short towels . Staff was very nice.

Upon arrival at the Ramada by Wyndham in Abbotsford, the front desk attendant was unfriendly and had a noticeable attitude—not the welcoming experience you expect when checking in. We were initially assigned Room 228. After walking up the stairs to the far end, we immediately noticed the room was in poor condition. Most concerning was that part of the door casing was missing and there was no safety latch, giving the appearance that the door had previously been forced open. This felt unsafe. I went back downstairs right away to request a different room. I’m not sure if the person who assisted me was the manager or owner, but we were reassigned to Room 218. Unfortunately, this room was no better. The curtains were barely hanging on the rod, had cigarette burn marks, and the outer curtains were overly long and frayed at the bottom. The carpets were dirty, adding to the overall unclean feel of the room. When we attempted to use the hot water, none was available. We let the water run for several minutes in both the sink and bathtub, but it never got warm, so we were unable to shower. On a positive note, the front lobby has been remodeled and looks nice. The continental breakfast was simple but appreciated—toast, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Overall, the condition of the rooms and lack of basic amenities, combined with poor customer service, made this a very disappointing stay. I would not stay here again.

Clean room, friendly staff

Room was very clean and spacious, had nice heat, very friendly staff, only thing that I didn’t like was the shower didn’t really have hot water, but it was warmish. All in all I had a great stay with the Ramada.

Staff was very friendly and good. But the place was so stink. They even don’t bother to clean the bedsheets and carpet before arrival of any another guest. Overall, very bad experience to stay at this hotel.

No reservation upon arrival, when I asked about the rate she was going to charge me for a new booking she told me I could go somewhere else, so we did.

The property had a door that SLAMMED shut EVERY time someone went through it, all night long. It was extremely loud and jarring. Also there was no hot water. Seriously, luke warm at best. The continental breakfast is pretty pathetic, worst I have ever seen for a breakfast.

Staff helpful when door key didn’t work. Clean but dated room with some stains on carpet. Breakfast sucked, don’t even think of it as a continental breakfast unless you’re happy with small breakfast selection. (Hard boiled eggs was what I settled on and my daughter had toast and jam and a yogurt.) no pancakes, no good cereal, ( I think it was raisins flakes?) no juice, coffee was not good. Indian food across the street was excellent! Check it out and try some of their desserts if your in the area, It was good! One other nice thing is it is just off the highway.

The hotel was located in an ideal location for our trip. However, the hotel is dated and flooring upgrades and paint woyld help.

This property is very substandard. Staff is friendly and helpful but the room we were assigned was in very poor condition: Many large chips in the enamel of the bathtub...one about 4"x 2", shower curtain had a sour, unclean smell. We actually didn't feel comfortable even using the shower. Toilet didn't flush properly...had to keep removing the tank lid to adjust the flush valve. Bathroom fan was very noisy. The towels were thin and not very white. The paint of the bathroom door had been very poorly repaired with a colour that did not match.The bedroom ceiling had evidence of many water leaks and had been very poorly repaired. The built in furniture was chipped, inside of drawers was stained and grubby. The king bed was okay and the sheets seemed clean but the duvet was grubby and the pillows inside the cases were stained. A previous review had mentioned bed bugs...we did not sleep well. There were many other minor problems such as holes in the walls, burnt out light bulbs etc. You might think that this review is of a $40.00 a night roadside motel but is is a Ramada and the cost for one night with tax was just under $200,00 CA. One last disturbing occurance is that at around 8:00pm we heard someone trying to open our door!!! The room had been assigned to another couple and they were given key cards that worked in our door. In the morning when we returned to our room after breakfast our key cards did not work.

I checked in after midnight due to a late flight and was very disappointed with my stay. There were stains on the walls and baseboards, a strong mold smell, dents and holes in the drywall, a stain on the ceiling, a broken shower handle, and a damaged window. I did not feel comfortable staying there, but it was too late to find another option. To add to the bad experience, the hotel later double-charged a higher rate after leaving. When I contacted, they said I hadn’t paid even though I already paid on Hotels.com (which there was no mention of an issue or charge at the desk while checking in). It took time to resolve, and I’m grateful Hotels.com provides a receipt.
