This was a great place to stay for two nights with lots planned to do. It is just two minutes walk to the underground ( with lifts for luggage) or bus stops that are on good routes for top sights. The room was compact but not too small, clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Ironing boards and irons are on each floor. Breakfast was more than enough with a range of cereals, juices, pastries and choice of bread types. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a great laundromat just two minutes away and for coffee lovers an Aussie cafe across the road to get proper coffee. There are lots of places to eat nearby. All in all a great place stay and definitely one I’d return to.

We had a fantastic stay in this charming hotel this weekend. We stayed for one night and needed somewhere central. The location was outstanding, and only a couple of minutes from Earl’s Court underground station. We arrived early and although we couldn’t get our room immediately, our check in experience was fantastic- beautiful and clean reception area, friendly staff, and quick and easy luggage storage. We returned later that evening to pick up our key, and again the warm and friendly welcome shone through! We loved the hotel- a charming building and charming facilities. Our room on floor 3 was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Huge window with a beautiful view over the hotel’s garden, and an ornate wooden bed which was very comfortable giving us a perfect nights sleep. Towels and bedding clean and fresh, and seemed new. Bathroom was great too, including bath and shower. A lovely touch is that all bookings include free tea and coffee during the day, and a continental breakfast. The staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful, and served fresh pastries direct to our table which was a lovely touch! Hot breakfast was available at a supplement, but we enjoyed the continental and felt there was enough choice to set us up for the day. Check out was quick and easy, and our super-friendly welcome was matched with a super-friendly goodbye. DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this a hotel! Thank you for a great stay!

Outside space - large decked area with seating and tables, and a larger lawn with tables and chairs. I liked sitting outside to read my book and drink a tea. Tea and coffee available from 11.00 am to 11.00 pm in the dining room. There are sofas as well. Very close to the tube station.

Clean property but a bit tired the rooms. In the photos there was an air conditioner box and a controller on the wall but property doesn’t have AC, only a fan. During a heat wave it wasn’t the best for sleeping.

my friend & i who stayed here are never compelled to write reviews, but we were so unhappy with our stay that we felt we needed to share. firstly, we specifically booked this hotel because it was advertised as having air conditioning, yet upon arrival, during a heatwave, we were told by a member of staff at the front desk that they have NEVER had air conditioning. there was an air conditioning unit on the wall with the control panel left open… & an expedia post from this year saying there was air conditioning, but when you clicked on it, it had been updated to leave air conditioning off the property details. we were provided with a dusty fan in 95° degree weather. our shower curtain was fabric & had no plastic lining so the entire bathroom smelt like mold & would flood the bathroom every time you showered. the temperature of the water in the shower couldn’t stay consistent for more than 5 minutes at a time & the shower was so high off the ground it felt dangerous to get in & out of. there was trash left by the last guests behind the nightstand. we asked for more than one set of towels & it took 30 minutes to get two more. the toilet also had to be pumped to be flushed, & you had to leave your keycard at the front desk every time you left. anyways, if you’re considering staying here, stay somewhere else that’s better quality for the same, high price.

The staff are polite and helpful, unfortunately noise from the street was loud until early hours. Would of like working air con, but as the shower was nice able to cool off several times throughout the day as during a heat wave

I’m trying to be balanced about this place, because my review is written at a time when the weather is extremely hot. The hotel was stifling as there is no air conditioning. A small fan in the room bought a tiny bit of relief, but not very much. It made sleeping overnight very uncomfortable and difficult. This claims to be a three star hotel, but I thought the decor and general condition of my room was very poor indeed. There wasn’t even a kettle in the room for a quick cuppa. There is a fridge that is so small, it won’t even take the smallest of water bottles. The decoration of the bathroom looked like something out of the 80’s and included a cigarette burn on the toilet seat, and a hairdryer to behold (I didn’t use it). The staff seemed very pleasant, and the continental style breakfast was OK. Personally, I wouldn’t stay here again. I’d prefer to pay an extra £25/£50 per night to get somewhere half decent. It’s OK, as you long as you don’t expect much in the way of comfort or amenities. On a positive, the owners seem to have invested in a lovely garden, but I feel this would have been better spent undertaking some upgrading of the rooms.

Had 2 rooms booked, both bathrooms were filthy. Tiles broken/ loose on the floor. Staines on the bedding and walls. Headboard caked in dust. tap coming away from wall in bath in both rooms. Stain on bathroom ceilings. Broken bed in one room. Electric hairdryer held together with duct tape. Lights on stairs did not work and was very dark and unstable.

Personnel très gentil et serviable. Bien situé, à 2-3 minutes de la gare et de restaurants. . Il fait très chaud dans les chambres. Petit ventilateur qui ne fonctionne pas à pleine capacité. Très vieux et les draps sont tachés et jamais changés

When I booked I read reviews and thought the hotel sounded ok. My requirements to be close to the centre, good tube links and didn't cost the earth. A 3 star hotel, wasn't expecting too fancy. Light continental breakfast - tea, coffee, juice, toast, cereal, pastries. For a cooked breakfast book the night before for a cost. Reading reviews again before arrival painted the hotel as awful. Complaints about breakfast - it is a light continental not full. Unclean, broken furniture etc. It was the warmest weekend , so far. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready. Not a problem, we sat outside in the garden. To get there you walked through the breakfast room, which was set up for the next morning, it was a cool room - considering how hot it was outside - and looked clean and inviting space to eat in the morning, in fact probably one of the only places in the hotel that had been updated. Our room was on the 3rd floor next to the lift - can't say we really heard the lift. Our room was a double, with a very small bathroom. The room was clean, but needs a makeover - painting, updating scratched furniture, hairdryer in the bathroom was vintage, one temperature one speed and the handle is scalding - needs changing, I used a towel round the handle to hold it. We had a desk fan in the room - thankfully as it was so warm. Towels are a little small, TV worked. Fantastic location, lots of local and chain restaurants/coffee shops within 2 mins and tube just round the corner.

A relatively cheap hotel for London that provides the basics; clean sheets, a bed and a hot shower. It is very handy to the underground lines for central London and Heathrow. Rooms are small and well used and showing their age but you are not paying high prices. Breakfast is provided which was filling, offered something for everyone in terms of continental style.
