Overall, poorer than expected. Roomm was clean and breakfast pretty good. No hotel car park, poor room ameneties, uncomfortable bed and pillows. Wouldn't stay again

The room was clean but there was an empty packet of Maryland’s under the bed. The Tv didn’t work and I only noticed about 3 hours into our arrival- no maintenance were in house so they offered a different room- but we had already unpacked, settled etc, my son was sleeping so was inconvenient to move. The pool was out of use 10-11am which was annoying and the hot tub was out of use the whole time. There was also no water in our fridge. With there being no phone in the room having to go down to reception felt like a chore every time so we didn’t bother. The location is good but I was misinformed on the phone about parking- she told me £12 but it’s actually £21.60. We still had a nice stay but there were a number of errors.

This is the first time I stay in this hotel with my family. The carpark just next to the hotel but no more hotel guest price. We have to park there by paying two days price as we arrived at 4pm and planned to leave at next day 10am. The room and the hotel is clean and in modern design. Swimming pool is a big crowned and lack of space for us to put our belongings at the poolside. Breakfast is perfect and food refill in minutes. The only thing which cannot gain a five star is room network and wifi is zero signal. We can just access in lobby ( I don’t know how’s other room). Other than that, all is perfect.

Great hotel and staff The only thing can be improved probably to have a better deal for parking at next door car park. Paid 16.5 for overnight car park. You pay from arrival until 4am, then pay for another day. So kinda of 2 days parking fee when essentially you stay just over night. (If I understood correctly) But I understand this is out of control of hotel as it doesn’t own the car park. Overall a great stay.

Parking was ok once you realise it is with the train station car parking but confusion info on the website and the booking info was not clear.

Everything was excellent just couple of things could be better. 1. Room to have extra sockets next to bed there is no USBC so you want to charge with the plug and is far far from bed. 2) everything at breakfast is good but could some more variety for fruits especially for vegetarians there isn’t much options. Otherwise all excellent.

Although my room was cleaned and the towels replaced, the tea/coffee/milk was not replaced and there was a dirty cup left in the room. Not really good enough. The member of staff on breakfast duty was excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Clean and spacious rooms. Really loved the breakfast variety for all age ranges. The sauna and pool are a must , it’s small but worth it

Ideal base to explore Cambridge excellent connections by train, bus and uber. No need for a car.

Very good location very modern room and clean showers great

This is my go-to hotel in Cambridge, although I notice the selection of spirits at the bar has decreased, and the breakfast options have tightened up a bit in terms of variety. The hotel has replaced some of the older furnishings, which were needed. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is good, although it is not as easy to work from as the desks are smaller.

Overall was good. Food service poor. Waited an hour for dessert before cancelling. Asked 3 times for the bill before it arrived

The room was lovely and clean and the extra bed was made up. I had alerted them previously that our daughter had not been included on the original booking and they weren't aware of this on checking in. Most of the staff were very courteous. Our TV didn't work particularly well and at one point our room card didn't work. We were told to whatsapp the hotel. The first time this worked very well but it didn't the second time so my husband had to go down and rectify the entry card problem. The restaurant was lovely and the breakfast had a very good offering. The gym and pool were also very good, despite the jacuzzi not working. All in all a good, well located and very reasonably priced hotel.
