AC Hotel by Marriott Penang

Nice place but food is a bit hard to get at times. Breakfast is very local flavor, overpriced and seating was an issue on weekends. During the day there is no menu or room service ever. The evening menu is ok and the food was good. Pool was nice and big but need a clean for sure. Was over due by about a week or two.

Yes. The room is clean, but I think the wardrobe need to be cleaned more. The safe deposit box is also broken

Overall hotel is good. No restaurant/ coffeeshop surrounding

すぐ近くにセブンイレブンがあって便利です。22:10にペナン国際空港に到着し、23:00前にはホテルに入れました。空港からホテルはタクシーで10分程。帰国日は5:30にチェックアウトでしたが、スムーズでした。

We stayed here one night after flying in to Penang fairly late at night. The breakfast was excellent.

Arrived at the hotel at about 5 pm and was attended to by Staff Rimon at the counter, he is exceptionally welcoming and therefore making my check in especially pleasant. As I had make the booking just a day ago and it seems that the booking has not reflected yet in the system, he kindly explained to me and assured me that it would not be an issue. Additionally as my return flight is pretty late, he also try to accommodate my request for late check out as well as a high floor unit. The hotel also had a shuttle bus that operates in the evening to the nearby Queensbay mall and Rimon as well kindly did a reservation for me to and fro just to make sure that I have a seat on the shuttle. From the hotel is about a 15 minutes drive on the shuttle to the mall :). Just outside the hotels, there are stretches and plenty of food places. My stay here has been exceptionally pleasant and felt very welcoming especially because of Rimon, it nice to see him at the counter with his alway wide and warm welcoming smile :) The hotel booked is a family unit and is 94 sqm in size. It has a nice view of Penang island and that it has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathroom as well as a study room. It comes with also a balcony and also a living and dining area. Both of the bedrooms window have very good city view. We also managed to catch some fireworks on the night of the 28 June :). The decoration of the executive family suites is very modern and it really have the feel of home :).

It took more than 30 mins to arrange local transport. They have no restaurant open for dinner. Reception staff had poor attitude

Everything was good except the washing basin is cloaked. Clean, great service and not a bad location

Confortable, spacious room. Kind, attentive staff. No room service, surprising for a full service hotel. Extremely difficult to even do this review-no internet connection. Wifi was extremely poor, making it impossible to work and to manage issues that required internet connectivity.

Great place to stay, very nice staff.

Just needed a place close to the airport for an overnight layover, but the hotel was much better than I’d expected. Would absolutely book it again
