Best hotel in cardiff amazing gym pool and spa 👌

Very welcoming.

The staff was all friendly and would do anything to help. The only down side was that we could hear the noise from outside.

Experience over all was good but the mattress was lumpy, the springs were digging in on one side of the bed. There was no towel rail to dry towels on and the shower head could not be moved up so I couldn’t stand underneath it properly. General condition of the room was ok but showing signs of wear and tare.

It was very much convenient.

Very clean, roomy, met all our needs, large bathroom and shower, good free selction of hot drinks. Would visit again for short stay.

It was in a brilliant position, the hotel & facilities were fab! We only had breakfast but the choice was brilliant, everything was being constantly filled up. All food to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay at Hilton Cardiff. The entire room felt extremely dated and poorly maintained. One of the most frustrating issues was the bed — it actually moved when we sat or leaned on it. It wasn’t properly fixed in place, so it would slide across the floor with even the slightest movement. This made it incredibly uncomfortable and gave the impression of very poor upkeep. The beds was also extremely hard and uncomfortable, and i didn't sleep all night. The curtain nets on the windows were old and tired, adding to the overall run-down feel of the room. This is far below the standard I expect from a Hilton hotel. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location unless serious renovations are made.

Nice generous space within budget.

The hotel itself was clean and spacious with standard decent breakfast. Also the spa area though a bit dated, is lovely with a warm good sized pool and hot tub. The only issue is they need to pay attention to the toilets in the lobby as they are always a proper mess, almost like using public toilets in a park. Also, I would advise everyone to always check the bedding as I found out that there were horrid pee stains on the mattress topper that were hidden by clean sheets! Totally unacceptable. The fact that this is a pet friendly hotel makes it difficult to tell whether the pee stains were from a baby or a pet. This should have been washed and not merely covered with a clean sheet. Other than that, I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here as the location is perfect and the spacious and clean rooms live up to the Hilton name.

Had a really nice weekend!

I stayed in the executive room on the top floor and it was absolutely incredible. Fantastic huge, super comfortable bed. Gorgeous view of the Cardiff castle. Executive lounge offers snacks/drinks and magazines to read. Before going out in the evening I popped in for hot/cold hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine. Breakfast is delicious and varied. Pool had perfect refreshing temperature. And there’s great sauna/jacuzzi + separate lift to take you back to your room after the swim. The stay is truly 5/5 and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Very good hotel!

They gave us an upgraded room at no request upon arrival, two free drinks in the bar as it was my birthday! The room was so lovely, the bed was unbelievably comfortable! The soap etc in the bathroom smelled divine, so much I’m now hunting online to see if we can purchase it! Also the aircon was fantastic!
