It was a disgusting room, black mould and fixing held on with tape. All round dirty room, the carpet was filthy

Avoid at all costs! Dirty looking needs a. Complete refurb fixtures and fittings broken and to rub salt into the wounds they charge £5 to store your luggage. It’s central that’s all it has going for it

L’eau froide était difficile à obtenir, et la saleté s’accumulait sous les lits et sur le sol. La salle de bain était moisi, des murs aux aérations du bac de douche. La fenêtre ne se fermait pas complètement, nous réveillant souvent au bruit de l’extérieur. Les murs étaient si fins qu’on entendait respirer nos voisins. Mon lit était cassé en deux, maintenu par une seule planche, mais pas tout à fait droit. Nous avons dû demander des serviettes de bain. J’ai des photos pour étayer mes propos.

We were allowed to check in a little early and the location was great but everything else was very bad. The room was dirty, especially the carpet which wasn't even on the photos. The walls were cracked. The shower was clogged and dirty. There was no place to put a suit case and no hangers or anything for your clothes. When we asked the reception for toilet paper and a towel later in our stay, they juat asked if we didn't already have it.

Good location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely come back

I couldn't stop the shower for a while. And bits in my bed.

This property was horrible in all sense of the word. The sheets were dirty, bathroom was filthy and covered in mold and the whole room was crumbling away. The bed was old and you could feel every spring. Do not recommend.

The building was disgusting, for ur sanity sake don't go!

The place was absolutely didgusting, the room smelt like someone had died in it, constant banging all night and you could here people Outside all night through the poorly maintained windows… we had ants in the room!

Absolutely shocking room. It’s was rotten! The cleanest thing was the bed sheets. We had tissues under the bed from previous travellers. Toilet didn’t work properly. Hair in the bath room sink , couldn’t open the window in this awful heat. We will never book again. If I could give no stars I would . AVOID!!!

De ansatte var trivelige og hjelpsomme. Det skal nevnes at dusjen var full av mugg og lakk. Sengetøyet hadde flekker, det var vannskader både på baderommet og utenfor. Det var skittent på rommet. Men til den prisen, og den lokasjonen kan man kanskje ikke forvente annet.

Disgusting! Avoid at all costs! Dirty and mouldy room, everything is chipped and in disrepair. No towels provided, the linen smelled like womens perfume, pillows stained and uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable bed. Cold room. No TV remote. Constant humming noise at night. Felt like descending into Dante's inferno.

More like a hostel, very outdated and not clean

The step from the bathroom down into the bedroom was about 14”. My husband and I are in our late 70’s and both of us fell out of the bathroom onto the bedroom cement floor. Fortunately, we weren’t hurt. The Annex is a nightmare!

The hotel has one thing going for it: location! It is right around the corner from the British Museum, and a ten-minute stroll from Tottenham Court Road station. But that is where the pros end and the cons begin. I've stayed in a few less-than-glamorous London hotels over the years, but this one takes the prize. The lobby and ground floor seem to be in shabby but reasonable condition, but when you ascend to the upper floors, the smell of old sweat and Febreze trapped in airless rooms becomes progressively more cloying. In terms of cleanliness, the shared bathrooms seem on par with the toilets you find on trains. The upstairs one, in particular, was visibly encrusted with old pee around the rim. The rooms themselves must differ in quality, because mine looked nothing like the photos shown on the various booking sites. The bed in my single room was one of those rickety metal-frame guest beds, with an old, flat mattress on top. The floor was dirty, with carpets that did not appear to have been cleaned since the turn of the century. The curtains might once have been white or beige, but had long since turned a ghastly yellow tone. Of course, they were greasy to the touch and had been ripped off on one side, so they sagged and didn’t close properly. The taps on my little sink produced only a faint trickle of lukewarm water whether I tried hot or cold, and the sink itself was blocked. Everything was absolutely rank and covered in grime. All in all, I will never, ever be back.

立地はとても良く、空港からも一本、最寄りのラッセルスクエア駅からも徒歩3分、深夜でも空いてる現地ではリーズナブルなスーパーがあり、と環境は申し分ないです。大英博物館も2分くらいで行けてしまいます。 が、宿泊施設としてはユースホステル以下です。受付まわり雰囲気ありますが、あとは最悪です。床もベッドも傾いてますし部屋の洗面台も使えず、シャワーとトイレは共同。シャワールームも一箇所は蜘蛛の巣がはっていて、浴槽も不潔。そのため浴槽がない別のシャワー室使いました。壁も薄いのでまわりの音響きまくります。コンセントも一箇所しかなく、部屋の備品もバスタオル1枚のみ、3泊しましたが、タオル交換も清掃も一回もありません。 ちなみに毛布もタオルもシミがついていました。 お湯はもらえますが電子レンジも借りられません。 日本の基準では全く考えられないレベルです

Låg superbra till

I stayed at Thanet Hotel Annex during my visit to London. The location of the hotel is very convenient and close to many attractions and public transportation. The employees were also very friendly and helpful during my stay. However, the hotel building needs some improvement. The walls and floors are not well insulated, and it was easy to hear noise from the upstairs floor whenever someone moved around. This made the room less quiet and comfortable at times.

Great location, very cheap. Room is spartan but that's the point. Did the job very nicely
