Room was ok .Breakfast could be better .It was the same everyday .

Best point of the hotel is its close proximity to Kaunas bus station and train station to reach other parts of Lithuania. Room was cozy and neat, and I could see buzzing road outside through window. Little amenities given but it’s not a big problem in my case. However, constant small noise of ventilation has hindered my sleep since I’m pretty sound sensitive person. Maybe other rooms are fine but this was small shortcoming of my stay.

The room was kinda small and basic, but fine enough if the rest had been great but it wasn’t. We got a room on the fifth floor facing the street, so it was really noisy. Mattresses on the hard side. No safe in the room, no kettle, no fridge. The plugs were only on one of the sides of the beds. Towels thin and worn out. Only one single small garbage bin which was placed in the toilet. The room could definitely use another bin!! Two out of five days we didn’t get cleaning even though we put the sign on the door. One of the times they sent the housekeeping so we waited 15-20 min in the reception, which was okay. The other time the housekeepers already went home so we couldn’t dispose our garbage anywhere (we had ordered takeout the day before so we really were annoyed). Also, I had to ask for extra hand towels almost every day as this apparently isn’t part of the package (?) So I’m supposed to dry my body in the same (thin) towel that I dry my hands in. Great location with a lot of bus connections but also kinda noisy because of the all traffic. Ear plugs are a must for this hotel. Super market really close and there’s also a great pizza place. But that’s pretty much it.

Good basic hotel near to all the things you need

When selecting a hotel to stay in whilst visiting a city you have never visited before you rely on the facilities the hotel promises. The Ibis Kaunas Centre failed to deliver on many counts. The promised bar didn't exist, the promised restaurant was never opened. This is despite adverts for their tasty food in their lifts only breakfast was served. My room was never cleaned during my 5 day stay; indeed my waste bucket wasn't even emptied. Perhaps most disappointing was that despite pre-arrival requests for check in information, no mention was made by the hotel about the promised facilities being unavailable; nor indeed were we given the option of cancelling our reservation with a full refund so we could go somewhere that did offer the facilities we required. Staff were completely disinterested in my complaints. Poor customer service and a hotel that simply did not provide what it advertised. Very poor.

団体客がいて、いやな予感はしたが、朝食でバイキングに行ったら食べ物がほぼなかった。サラダなどスタッフのおばさんにリクエストしたが、もうないとのこと。 団体客が来るのなら、ちゃんと仕入れをしてほしかった。

Die Receptionistin war sehr sehr hilfreich und freundliche, echt kundenorientiert.

Tasalaatuinen ketjuhotelli. Huone ok ja sänky hyvä. Iloinen yllätys oli aamiaisen monipuolisuus. Henkilökunnan kanssa ei juurikaan tarvinnut olla kontaktissa. Sijainti lyhyehköisin yöpymisiin kätevä linja-autoaseman välittömässä läheisyydessä. Myös rautatieasema hyvin lähellä. Vanhaan kaupunkiin ja nähtävyyksille oli sen sijaan melko pitkä marssi.

Otroligt bra pris, under 500 skr per natt med frukost. Och en riktigt bra frukost vill jag tillägga! Läget är bra, ligger direkt vid busstationen och det är gångavstånd till city där det händer. Fräscht i reception i frukostmatsal. Rummen, ok, lite slitna, men attans skön säng med goa kuddar. TV, inge många kanaler på annat än på litauiska, minus ! Dusch o toa, ok. rent men lite slitet. Rummet , 324, var väldigt lyhört. Steg utanför hördes rejält, ovanifrån likaså. Och trafiken hördes genom fönstret Saknar en del detaljer, som ett kylskåp, och en papperskorg på rummet. Och, sakande verkligen den utlovade baren/restaurangen som stängs när frukosten är klar, stort minus ! Men som sagt, till priser, riktigt bra. När det är högsäsong o priset är det dubbla, nej tack.

Hotel was literally next door to bus station which was very convenient. Local bus stop and large supermarket also next door. Breakfast option was adequate (€12). Usual compact room.

Matkustimme koirien kanssa, ja sen puolesta kaikki oli sujuvaa. Isoin miinus oli huoneen lämpötila (24-25 asteen välillä), eikä sitä saanut säädettyä. Hetkittäin oli tuskallisen kuumaa näin talvellakin. Huoneen kalusteiden sijoittelu oli myös epäkäytännöllinen ja huone tuntui ahtaalta. Perjantaina aamupalan tarjonta oli kuivaa ja seissyttä, lauantaina porukkaa oli enemmän ja osa ruuista pääsi loppumaan useinkin. Palvelu oli kuitenkin ystävällistä. Takapihan parkkialue oli hyvä.

リガからカウナスまでバス移動し、夜に到着しましたが、バスターミナルに隣接していたので、すぐにホテルに入ることが出来て大変楽でした。ホテルは新築かと思うほど綺麗で、部屋もスーツケースを充分広げられるスペースがありました。フロントも親切でした。またレストランも大変綺麗で朝食も種類があって、とても良かったです。バスターミナルにはスーパーが隣接していて割と遅くまで営業していたので、到着した日の夕食を買うのにも便利でした。カウナスの駅までは歩いて15〜20分くらいですが、平坦な道で歩道も歩きやすいので、スーツケースを引きながらでも歩ける距離です。機会があればまた利用したいです。

Zimmer ist ziemlich klein, kein Wasser im Zimmer (ist es so teuer das zu stellen?). Hotel befindet sich neben dem Hbf. Fuer die kurze transit reise passt das.

Standard Ibis experience. Good value and next to ypthe bus station meaning travel to and from Kaunas Airport is cheap and easy. No kettle in the room but the rooms have great televisions.

Nice service. Ok for one night.

Everyting was good, but we asked to awake up at 5.00 am. This is the third time when you promise to wake up us, but no action. Our bus lived at 5.50 am we knew what will happen and took our own alarm with us.

Was decent enough for what I paid. Shower tiles showed signs of mould. No electrical sockets next to bed or next to mirror as wanted to dry hair after shower. (Luckily the wire reached closest to it). Breakfast was nice with plenty to choose from. Staff need to crack a smile from time to time.
