We wouldn’t stay here again - it has potential but two things really stood out that people should be aware of when booking. Notice that no one mentions the beds being comfortable in their reviews…. that’s because they aren’t. The other thing is that it smells like a Hollister store. And just like a Hollister store, they use way too much fragrance that it’s overwhelming, to the point we’d get a headache if we were in the elevator lobby too long so we’d run through and take the stairs to avoid lingering. We smelled the scent blocks away from the hotel thinking it was another store with the same smell, nope, it was us covered in it. They asked for feedback after our first night and we told them this and they did nothing to change it the next 3 days. The hotel is beautiful, great location, the staff was friendly and helpful at check in, the rooftop bar is nice, but don’t be drawn by the rooftop pool picture as your reason to book here unless that’s your main reason. At check out, they literally asked us to give them a 10 star rating and use their names so they’ll get money. I just think that’s unethical and reviews should be honest so travelers know what they are booking. They even handed me a card that asks for a 10 star review…

Great roof top views. Close to shops and walking distance to attractions.

Great location, incredibly helpful staff, spacious rooms and a great view.

Friendly and helpful staff greeted us every time we came through the door. The hotel is quaint, but immaculately clean and well designed. Great beds, nice shower and plenty of space in the bathroom. Our room had an excellent view of the plaza and the views from the rooftop bar were even better. The metro station is directly in front of the hotel entrance and countless restaurants are only a short walk. This street is also Madrid's equivalent to Broadway and has all the theaters running major productions (we splurged and got last minute tickets to The Lion King because we couldn't pass on the opportunity). Central to everything you'd want to do as a visitor to the city. Great price, great amenities, and you couldn't find a more convenient location.
