We loved our almost week-long stay at Palacio de Tepa. Our room (Jr Suite) was roomy, clean, and although a bit far, otherwise perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The location is wonderful: central and in a charming section of the Literary Quarter. We moved from a 2-floor suite to a single-floor suite. The stairs were steep and not great for older people who visit the toilet in the middle of the night. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

You can’t beat the location of this hotel, right in the middle of everything Madrid has to offer. The room was cozy and well-appointed, and the overall experience was excellent. There is some city noise from outside, but that’s completely expected given where it sits, and a small trade-off for such a central spot. A great choice for travelers who want to be close to the action.

Staff were wonderful. Every recommendation for restaurants and tapas bars were excellent.
Room was always clean, though could use better storage accommodations for clothes and bathroom items.
Breakfast was delicious and the location is very good. Our room was a little noisy - had one roof window and it didn't seem to close tightly so we heard street noise a bit too much. But overall a great stay.

Fantastic room. Lovely little touches like arrival and departing treats left in the room. Staff were all very pleasant and guest relations desk was very helpful. Breakfast buffet had a huge selection and à la carte options were included in the price.
