Great room overlooking the beach, bathroom was spotless clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and had plenty of options. I didn't try the pool but it seemed nice too. A great place to stay.

This is a gorgeous hotel although very overpriced for what you get. The breakfast was good but had to pay extra for it and wasn't worth it in my opinion. The rooftop is lovely but a huge building blocks the sunset, drinks are pricey and the pool is tiny.

I booked a one-night stay at Palma Viña del Mar from February 14th to February 15th through Expedia and received a confirmation, so I assumed everything was set. I even messaged the hotel beforehand to confirm, but never received a reply. When my husband and I arrived for what was supposed to be a special day, we were told the hotel was overbooked and there was no room available for us. Although the front desk staff tried to help find alternative accommodations, we ended up wasting about two hours of our evening and were left stranded without a place to stay. We even asked if we could reschedule our stay for another day, but they told us they couldn’t accommodate that either. The hotel staff seemed unapologetic about the situation and largely blamed Expedia while we were there, rather than taking responsibility or offering any real solution. They did not offer any form of compensation or gesture of goodwill — not even something simple like dining or any complimentary service — which made the experience even more disappointing. What made the situation worse was that I only received a message from the hotel the following day at 3 p.m. informing me they were overbooked. I never received a call beforehand, and they claimed they had the wrong phone number on file, despite Expedia having my correct contact information. This entire experience was extremely frustrating, stressful, and unprofessional. Both Expedia and the hotel need to better manage their booking systems.
