Room with king sized bed given to us has a small window only, size of room reasonable. Housekeeping service poor. towels were not replenished properly, cleaning was not up to standard, empty tissue box was not refilled. They put on a 5% service charge on your bill at check in but you may say no on checking out, a bit embarrassing.

Firstly, the front-desk staff were very helpful in finding us a room with working AC at the third attempt.
I would not stay in a hotel like this again, with no external windows - they all look inward into the hotel and the windows are fully shut only.
The local area is very down-market - astonishingly so as it borders on Westfield shopping centre and Kensington. Don't be fooled. Even the short walk to the underground station is intimidating.
Shepherd's Bush= Never again. Dorsett chain = maybe.

Air con issues with the property but the staff kindly moved me to a better room that was very nice. Shepards bush is a bit of a rough area so outside plenty of dodgy people in the park so would watch going around alone. But this isn’t the properties issue.

Really nice hotel with one major issue during our stay.
With the weather being in the mid to highs 30s the air conditioning was down and not working at all.
A complimentary drinks was offered by way of apology but that really didn’t help with the room being roasting with no window to open.
Staff were understandably stressed at the amount of complaints they were facing from guests who wanted to cancel their reservations due to this matter. This did make check in a very long drawn out experience.

Really disappointed with this hotel! The hotel advertises it had air conditioning which was needed for the UK heatwave. The room was so much hotter than outside and the air conditioning was a standard fan which blows out the room air… so it was extremely hot.
The hotel staff wasted our time ahead of a concert we had that evening, which made us late! and offered a refund… but still waiting on any formal email or money to be returned! They say they were too busy to do it right then and there which I don’t believe.
We called up the Hoxton next door and multiple people had made the move over from the Dorsett that weekend.
Luckily this hotel didn’t spoil our night but I won’t be coming back!

Excellent staff, comfortable room, but AC was no existent across the hotel, which didn’t help as we were in a 35’ heatwave.
If the AC is sorted this would be a great hotel in a cracking location at a very reasonable price.

To be honest. This hotel is not being looked after. I don't know if I got the room I paid for but I was put in room 271. The safe was bad, the AC did not chill, I sweated all night, the furniture was old the wardrobe was bad, the wash hand basin plumbing was leaking etc. This was really bad

The AC was not working, the rooms smelt of damp/musty. The bathroom was dirty with grimy water coming out of the floor tile when it was stood on. I was moved to a new room and the carpet was stained and the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell and had not been properly cleaned. On the plus side, the gentleman on Reception was very kind, helpful and understanding

My rooms AC was not working, on previous visits the AC performance was poor, but with the heat recent it was unbearable.
I asked reception for a fan, which the did supply albeit a large evaporation cooler which was so noisy that it had to be turned off.
It’s rare but it’s the first time in a hotel I haven’t slept at all.
I won’t stay again.
