裝修尚可但有點舊，職員友善有禮，整體上性價比也可以

Extremely poor service and stay. We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. Television does not work, and the fans aren't very good. There are also insect stains on the bedding. Service is misleading, we were told that our check out was at noon however we were urged to leave as soon as 11am came by, asking to charge us for overstaying in the hotel. Our belongings were held at the lobby as well because of this, and the staff were reluctant to return our belongings. Extremely disappointed at the service and conditions of the hotel, will not recommend it to anyone.

Sehr gute Lage innerhalb von Newcastle und zum Bahnhof, der direkt neben dem Hotel ist. Trotzdem hört man die Züge nicht. Foyer ist beeindruckend mit tollem Leuchter. Aber Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer könnten frische Luft vertragen. Man sieht, dass alles schon älter ist (Teppich auf Treppe ist teilweise mit Klebestreifen repariert, meine Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage und der Geruch war z. T. Streng, Zimmersafe war aus dem Schrank entfernt) Nutzung des Leisure Centers kostet pro Tag 5,95 Pfund. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück im Haus ist gut. Single Zimmer war nicht mein Fall und ich habe in ein Upgrade investiert.

Really lovely hotel, everyone friendly - only disappointed was the fact the leisure facilities were £5.95 per person per day, this is not mentioned on expedia

Rock solid hotel.. Place is locked. Staff are polite, helpful and respectful. Go to hotel in Newcastle. 5 min walk, max, from the train station.

This hotel is old and a little shabby around the edges but it’s full of character and charm. What makes me return year after year are the FABULOUS staff! They are all so friendly and caring and helpful. Location is great directly accessible from train/metro stations.

Very spacious room. Great shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good too

huge twin room which remained quite cool during the recent heatwave. comfy bed with quality bedding. bathroom with huge tub and lots of hot water. generally quiet despite being at front of hotel on station road. comprehensive breakfast in vintage surroundings. step free access via back door at end of station entry platform beyond Centurion Bar.

Obviously old in style but very clean, rooms are huge and the hotel is in a great location. Pay for parking not too dear either.

Right next to the station in the middle of town. Large Victorian hotel with lots of space. Room was great and breakfast was delicious.

The staff very welcoming on arrival the receptionist Annabelle was so lovely very helpfull the room was very clean bar man and breakfast staff all very good service took there time to have a conversation with you would recommend to anyone great location bars all near hotel short walk to shops definitely stay again

arrived early around noon, room not ready so left cases (donation gbp 1.00 to charity which I thought acceptable) strange registration procedure involving requirement for passport or driving licence, neither of which I had with me, eventually agreed phone photo of passport acceptable, plus senior bus pass!!! nice huge room BUT NO AC AS LISTED IN BOOKING SITES, with bath. efficient lifts

Our stay was exceptional. This hotel had the best staff ever. We will definitely come back.

The rooms don’t look like they are on the photo whatsoever so we got a shock when we got in there, lovely staff especially Amber who compensated us due to our room not being ready and the pool being closed as that’s the only reason we came to the hotel. Other staff very kind aswell

Hotel and staff was excellent

Stayed in room 437. The room was extremely hot overnight and difficult to sleep in. Only one window opened and the fan provided didn’t help much. The heated towel rail also couldn’t be switched off, which made the room even warmer.
