Staff didn’t pick up room service trays overnight. Staff knocked on door and asked to clean our room when we hung a “Later, Please” sign from the door handle. Sign was removed. Cookies were plentiful. The hotel is a 30-minute bus ride from the train station. Buses run every 30 minutes.

​I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my highly unsatisfactory stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg on [Insert Date of Stay] (Reservation [Insert Reservation Number]). ​The stay fell significantly short of expected brand standards, presenting three serious failures: ​Safety and Allocation Failure: My critical pre-arrival request for two adjacent/adjoining Queen rooms for me and my children was ignored. The rooms were placed far apart, creating a major safety concern. ​Major Cleanliness Breach: Upon check-in, the bathroom toilet was found to be unclean and contained a visible spider. I possess photographic evidence of this unacceptable hygiene lapse. ​Operational Failure at Breakfast: The breakfast facility is grossly undersized for a 16-floor hotel. Due to extreme overcrowding, my family and I were forced to wait over 20 minutes for a table. ​As a result of these combined failures—particularly the safety and hygiene breaches—my stay was stressful and disappointing. ​I formally request an immediate review of my reservation and a commensurate form of compensation (full or partial refund) for the substandard service received. ​I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
