Nice upgrade

Yes, everything was superb.

Heating control missing replaced with a fan heater that was noisy, cups and glasses not cleaned room service didn’t come one day and constant noise of lift being used.

Room was freezing cold, heating not working TV was broken

A little out of the centre but free public transport

The room was very clean, but there was no bottled water provided, and the coffee wasn’t replenished in the morning.

Perfect view and exceptional staffs

We were incorrectly asked to pay for breakfast after being advised it was included with the room.

Staff didn’t pick up room service trays overnight. Staff knocked on door and asked to clean our room when we hung a “Later, Please” sign from the door handle. Sign was removed. Cookies were plentiful. The hotel is a 30-minute bus ride from the train station. Buses run every 30 minutes.

We really liked staying here... The place was calm and serene and well connected to the city..

Very Nice! The only problem was no sauna.

Very crowded. Food not the best

Hotel was clean , the hotel looks a little tired and could do with updating in certain areas the carpets in hallways and rooms looked well worn and not fresh. The rooms were fairly clean cobwebs in the bathroom and old food from previous guests in the fridge and the lounge chair was dirty and had large holes in the covers , Lots of chips on corners of furniture , windows was also stained on the inside of the double glazed unit obscuring the view. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. One thing that was annoying was no mention when booking there was no parking , only parking which was payable on arrival no mention of this . Overall not a bad place to stay but a little disappointed

Staff were very good, property a bit tired. Dining was very expensive and just average quality although dining and bar staff were very nice. Wouldn’t recommend eating here, very disappointing for the usual Double Tree standard we’ve experienced before.

Good room. High ceilings. Would have liked a stronger shower pressure. Tv has BBC but no other channels. Service impeccable as ever. I do like this place very much!
