Great staff. I would say it’s an entry-level resort. Not a top tier resort but it is good enough to have a great trip. Good place for families.

Hotel was what we expected for the price point. Check in and check out were smooth and we had no issues. We didn't have anyone try to pressure us about buying a Timeshare. Room was decent. We had hot water, and the A/C worked great! Food was fine... What you expect with buffets at AI. If you can't find something to eat, the issue is probably not the resort. We were able to make reservations at all 3 restaurants and we had a group of 7! Food was good at all 3. The beach is one of the nicest you will ever see! And they have a break wall so it stays pretty calm. I only have one big complaint and that is there is absolutely NO entertainment or anything to do. They had Karaoke one night but the other nights that showed on the calendar did not happen (Music trivia, Bingo, etc...) They close all outside bars at 6pm so the only thing open is the lobby bar. And that closes at 11pm. The lobby bar ran out of many things while we were there which I found odd since it is the ONLY bar, so you would think they would make sure it is fully stocked. This hotel is right on an entertainment strip where there are a ton of bars, shopping and night clubs. But those are not included so it would be nice to have things to do at the resort. If you are looking to relax and be on a beautiful beach/ocean, this is a decent resort. If you are looking to party and have some things to do, look elsewhere.

The food was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel needs work, it’s updated. The beach was amazing crystal clear water, white sand.

!Wir sind als Familie mit zwei Kindern (10 und 12 Jahre) angereist und hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick in der 3. Etage. Die Kinder hatten Spaß im Kids Club und waren begeistert vom Essen. Es gab praktisch alles. Die Auswahl an Speisen war fantastisch. Typisch México, Pizza, Burger, Pasta, frische Salate und Smoothies….5 verschiedene Restaurants und 3 Bars zur Auswahl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die ganze Belegschaft hat unheimlich viel für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt getan. Die Anlage ist groß und entsprechend sind viele Leute überall. Das hat aber nie gestört, auch wenn ich nicht bevorzugt AI-Cluburlauber bin. Die Poollandschaft hat den Kids gut gefallen. Der Strand ist sauber und der Ausblick umwerfend. Die angrenzenden Clubs haben wir nur in der Silvesternacht gehört, ansonsten war es eher ruhig. Das Hotel hat viele Annehmlichkeiten, u.a auch mehrere kleine Shops für Souvenirs, Geldautomaten im Haus und einen kleinen Supermarkt und eine Apotheke auf dem Gelände.

It was a horrible so called resort.

The staff could not find the reservations and we lasted over an hour and a half trying to check in. I had to call Expedia myself and try and get clarification on the reservation. They had to speak to staff at the hotel to try and get things sorted out. It was such a headache.

The dining experiences were adequate but not worthy of accolades. The exercise facilities were inadequate. The staff was friendly, fast, professional and an absolute joy. In Particular Norma and Fernando provided excellent service. Very hard working and accommodating. Thank you for making my experience a joy!

Excellent beach!

Room condition needs to improve. The building is old and look like grandma’s. There wasn’t too much entertainment . The pools are great and clean . They keep it clean it’s just need renovation. Night life is next to nothing. Otherwise it was okay.

Ride pool bartenders. Dining room staff inattentive. Rooms were needed renovation. Beach was beautiful.

Pobre servicio en comida , bebidas muy limitadas , all inclusive que no lo parecía, una cama balinesa gratis de cortesía la cual usé y me cobraron la comida que ordené lo cual era inaceptable ya que mi plan es todo incluido ( jamás se me explicó que al usar esta cortesía me cancelaba mis consumos y debía pagarlos ) , en general aun cuando el hotel tiene buena ubicación no vale la pena .

The view of sea from the hotel balcony was incredible. The hotel had enough options for vegetarians. The service from hotel staff was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic location minutes away from shopping, bars, ferry and nightlife! Great costumer service overall! The hotel needs renovations. Our toilet clogged the first day. Shower drains the water slowly. The elevator takes forever. They only have two elevators. The food is okay. It is not all inclusive. You have to pay for certain foods and premium drinks. They have a Starbucks that sells pastries and ice cream for a price. If you go on a holiday some services like laundry will be closed and they will not inform you unless you ask. There are laundry services 10 minutes away. This a great hotel for families on a budget or for young groups wanting to explore the nightlife. The waiters were very attentive. You need to make a reservation a whole day before to dine at each restaurant or else you’re stuck at the buffet. To be honest the buffet is way better then the 3 restaurants they have.

El personal enfocando mas en los que atienden el free bar te atienden de mala gana, nos quedamos mucho tiempo sin bebida porque no tenian vasos y los que te preparan bebidas ponen caras y son muy groseros

The employees were awesome and very friendly specially Sergio the waiter at the buffet. He would always be super friendly and attentive with my family that made the experience extra special, however the rooms were a little ugly for my taste. When I booked apparently the nicest room I was expecting something nicer. The rooms need remodel to something more modern in my opinion. It just gave old vibes. My last stay was at Panama jack and the rooms were really nice and cute. Other than that it was okay to stay here but not worth the price.

Krystal Cancún is (for us) the perfect place to stay for 3 days to end our 1 month in Mexico. The beach and the Caribbean Sea is beauful. Not crowded at any time. There is also lovely pools. Often live music at the bar at night. Yes there is Music and disco lights from the neigbour beachclub, but it does not bother us. 1 thing we often miss in the hotels is a way to hang the wet bathing suits on the balconis. This would be the perfect attention and addition to detail. It is highly needed. This is after all a beach front location. The possibility of a late check out for a small amount this year was WONDERFUL. It made our last day in Mexico SO much nicher. And the start of the 20 hour travel time back to the real world much more comfortable. Thank you Krystal Cancún and Thank you to the staff at the front desk. Thank you.
