Krystal Cancun All Inclusive

The resort was very good and what I expected for the price. Bed was comfy - staff was amazing. Food was what I typically expect in an all inclusive in Mexico. We found a nice variety at all the restaurants and loved the buffets. Some of the reviews I read ahead of time were critical that you had to pay for "premium" menu items. I kind of liked that you pay a base lower price for your stay and then only pay a premium for a few meals if you want to splurge. I thought it was a smart way to give you both options. The location was great - right near downtown. I thought it might be too loud, but it was actually pretty quiet at night. Might be a different story at spring break time!! This is a very quiet resort. A few fun pool activities during the day, but also some quiet places to read/chill. Not much at all in the way of night life, which was fine for us. As I said, it's a short block from downtown if you want night life. Big plus - there are a couple of extras you get for buying through Expedia which were a nice surprise. Not much time share pressure at all and the vendors selling excursions were helpful and had really good options. We did a sunset sail and a snorkeling excursion which were both excellent.

El hotel es bonito, la alberca es grande y los alimentos ricos. Hay mucha variedad de alimentos y los restaurantes como Mediterraneo y la hacienda Mexicana son excelentes. El ambiente es muy familiar y la atencion del personal muy bien.

Very great place food wasn’t that great

We had all inclusive ocean view room and it honestly was the only good thing, the food was bad, the drinks weren’t even strong. The pools close at 8 but they stop serving alcohol at 6pm so it didn’t make sense to us. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and they only came to clean our room once and we had to request them to do it. I wanted to like it because of the location but I honestly don’t think I’ll be back. We had to go get food every day because the food was just so bad. Won’t be staying here again. Thank you.

-accueil: nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel vers 22h30 étant donné nos vols, les explications du fonctionnement de l'hôtel et accueil étaient minimales voir même absentes. -Chambre: le minimum et bruyante (unité mécanique) si vous ne payez pas pour la vue océan. -Restaurants et buffet all inclusive: bonne nourriture, bon service cependant, le personnel était constamment en demande de pourboire et lorsqu'on regardait le menu, c'était toujours embêtant de savoir ce qui était inclus ou non. tout pour faire de l'argent sur le dos des touristes. -Personnel: très gentil. -Sargasse sur la plage: ils n'ont ramassé aucun matin les algues sur la plage avec les mouches et les odeurs. Nous n'avons pas l'intention d'y retourner.

The stay was fantastic. The people were very friendly, and the area was very safe, with plenty of activities nearby.

I will never stay at the Krystal Hotel again!!! This is my 7th time in Cancun. Krystal Gran is where i meant to book and accidentally booked the original Krystal rewards Hotel. All inclusive is a waste of time. You pay $5 everytime you order food through room service and they still want a tip. I had to call and complain about a bill left in my room to pay for the sodas in the refrigerator. There are 4 specialty restaurants and their food is horrible also and it’s the same as the food from the hotel. Nothing special. Additionally, there are items on the menu that you have to pay for. I’ve never been to an ALL INCLUSIVE resort and have to pay extra for food on the menu. I paid for lobster tails and lamb chops that were overcooked and tasteless. $175 extra. A waste, i could have went to a restaurant outside of the resort. Overall, the hotel food was horrible, very bad food, tasteless, and very few options. The room condition was not accommodating. The bathroom has no air ventilation. No full body mirrors after you get dress. The iron was dirty and i couldn’t use it. Hot water is amazing. The balcony has a beautiful view but needs more privacy, people from pool area or beach can see you clearly. They should frost the glass. The room furnishing is old and falling apart. So if you like nice furnishing this place is not for you. There were some staff members who were friendly and some who were not. I’ve never been to a resort an experienced unfriendly staff at all.

El hotel de 100, personal muy amable en todo momento, ningún inconveniente con la habitación, hermosa vista al mar. Lo único que mejoraría es poder llevar snacks a la palapa ya que solo se puede comer en el restaurante y la verdad es incómodo tener que moverte de tu palapa al restaurante, cuando puedes estar botaneando y bebiendo en tu palapa.

A equipe de funcionários é excelente. Boa limpeza nos quartos. As comidas nos restaurantes estavam perfeitas.

We decided to extend our stay for two more nights and moved from Sunscape Resort to Krystal Cancun, and honestly I wish we hadn’t. The staff were not very helpful and the check-in process was extremely long, with absolutely no direction on where to go even when we asked for assistance. The food, despite paying for an all-inclusive package, was a disaster — very little variety, most dishes were cold, and the staff were again not helpful. Many items surprisingly weren’t included, and at one restaurant that was supposed to be included, the service was extremely poor. At the end, we were given a bill to sign for what we ordered. When I double-checked it, I noticed the staff had added extra items we never ordered. When questioned, they were clearly caught off guard. It made me wonder how many guests might sign without checking, especially when they assume everything is included. Unfortunately, the staff showed no remorse. To top off our two-night stay, at 5 AM on our last night there was loud hammering and breaking noise for about an hour, sounding like construction or some sort of maintenance. It completely ruined our rest. Overall, this has been one of the worst places I’ve stayed at.
