Good experience for a very budget friendly hotel. No complains from any of us.

The restaurant was lovely nice friendly staff. My room was double booked managed to get another but freaked the occupants out when trying to enter room. A strange man was given the code to my room.. Who also freaked out when opening the door. Wifi was nonexistent in most areas. Need staff full time at reception as I heard many horror stories of rooms being double booked etc. Wouldn't stay again or recommend.

Room was overlooking the marina which was beautiful. It had 2 queen beds, which were very comfortable. The bathroom is very outdated and in need of some tlc and ventilation as does most of the building. Overall it was ok for what we needed.

When we arrived 3 hrs after check in time, the room was still not available, then they said there was a double up and one of the rooms was taken and they had to find us another room, the room given looked like it was a storage room! I had two rooms booked and both rooms looked nothing like the description and was in absolute terrible condition, the bathroom, toilet, doors, cleanliness, everything.... The woman at the counter was very unfriendly and did not try to assist in anyway, she had agree to pay the full refund and I'm still yet waiting for this. We did not end up staying the nights we booked and paid for, we had to look for other accommodation at the last minute and it was very inconvenient being that it was already evening. This was the worst place we have ever been to and the staff was the most unpleasant! Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Undercover parking included

The original room had many issues like hole in the wall, lights not working, and toilet seat hanging off. Took two days to get a new room. The second room was better. Then there is the elevators. They were not cleaned except for one day in the weekend. There were drip marks from trash bags in the elevator and basement entry for a week.

This property is in need of an overall. Staff at checkin, nonchalant and lazy basically. Text you a code to get into your room, whilst swinging on a seat behind the counter. Room tidiness very unacceptable. Lift from carpark didn't work. False evacuation alarm at 2.00 am with no staff at reception till ten minutes after alarm. Could not possibly recommend this to any one. Stayed at very many hotels old and new, never been at one so thoroughly below an acceptable standard.

Easy check in, value for money and great location.

Sufficient. Clean. Rooms in desperate need of an upgrade. Toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. Plenty of toilet paper but no additional blankets or pillows in the cupboard, no cutlery, no plates, nothing kitchen related at all, no microwave, no coffee cups just a few glass cups, fridge seal not properly sealing, very aged and dated, no instructions for checkout, no one on the desk at checkout, so we just left. Pizza at restaurant bar was delicious and staff there were friendly and helpful. All in all if you need somewhere comfortable to sleep, eat and shower then it is suitable.

Maintenance not their strong point

Wheelchair accessibility was limited in some areas. Despite advanced notice given of needing a wheelchair accessible room, we were assigned 1 in an area that was not accessible by the visitor's lift. It was labyrinth to get to that area. We had to use the service elevator everytime which was a dingy elevator to fit for safe independent use by someone with a disability. When we raised this with the 'manager' who seemed to be in a hurry and couldn't politely help us, she said the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't get reassigned to another room. It was really poor service. Highly unlikely we'd be back. It's a basic requirement to have a wheelchair accessible room when requested.

It was really nice to wake up to views of the marina. The hotel was fairly close to a shopping centre for the basics, and we enjoyed the thai restaurant 300m down the road. Some things that we noticed with our week-long stay - issues with waste management; building wear and tear; the lack of laundry facilities; the fact that it felt a long way away from the places we wanted to go. We spent more time driving than I had initially counted on.

Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. Dirty rooms, stains on quilts hair everywhere, half the lighting was out and didn't get the rooms we paid for, the excuse was "sorry, we're very busy" - the room was a converted Store Room (it even said that on the door), no windows, light or ventilation.

The toilet seat was broken and I was told it would be fixed that day, but it wasn't fixed during our week there.

The 2nd Bedroom was in the Laundry room with was freshly painted and had a strong smell with door closed. No ventilation or Air Conditioning in the 2nd Bedroom. The single Toilet/Shower did not have an exhaust fan either unfortunately. We were there for the Gold Coast 42km Marathon which was a busy event therefore not much options were available for alternative accommodation.

When we arrived I waited in line for over 45 minutes, when I gave the reception my booking number they had no room for me. The young boy at reception said I'll go and check if I can find you a room. He came back 25 minutes later to tell me that the one he looked at wasn't clean so he'd check another room. After waiting another 15 minutes he returned to tell me he had found a clean room. I had

Overall, well kept and clean, would have been nice to have a microwave or a coffee maker in the room… If room has a full fridge, should have something else in there to complement it.
