Quiet location. Friendly staff on checkin. The room wasn’t clean and lacking the bare essentials. Air con didn’t cool the room and the front door had been damaged and not repaired. We have stayed a few years back, unfortunately I think this will be our last.

On arrival, I was told that my booking had been cancelled due to "room issues", when i showed my confirmation i was told, sorry, sorry, room cancelled, no more booking. I was told i could get a cash refund on the spot or i could call WOTIF and try to get another booking somewhere else. Only problem is that i had travelled hours with 2 small children and it was storming. I took the cash and of course struggled to get a booking somewhere else and of course paid double the price of my original booking. Beyond angry, rude staff, very unprofessional.

No plug in kitchen sink to wash up, floor throughout the unit very dusty, stains on the curtains, roof falling apart on balcony, fridge was not cold enough. Cutlery was dirty and had to wash it up in bathroom sink before it could be used. Maybe 3x stars is to generous

The room was very neglected, the shower head was falling off the wall, the towel rail was falling off the wall, multiple cracked tiles in the bathroom were also loose. The kettle was very dirty inside. Could hear kids running up and down hallways at midnight. The pool area surrounds were filthy with dirt and human hair. The wharf boardwalk had loose planks were coming loose which was dangerous to walk along if you were not looking properly. The whole place is rundown.

We prepaid our booking and arrived well within the arrival window and there was no room for us. They had sold our room to someone else. The manager was abrupt and did not care that our family had nowhere to stay that evening.

Hardly any staff. The shower door was mouldy. The beds were clean and comfortable. I booked a 2 bedroom suite and had to change my room twice because the first two were not what a reserved. I ended up with 2 separate rooms which was not what I wanted. I took photos of the rooms.

Room was good, dated but well priced for what it was. Outside the room, walkways, grass, pool, undercover parking the whole outside of building was in very poor condition and in need of repairs and maintenance. Dirty, unkept, needs a tidy and cleanup. Otherwise was a good room but outside let the stay down.

Yes. Room was perfect. But disappointed there was not simple supply of cutlery and crockery. Only 2 teaspoons and mugs. Now knives forks or plates

Absolutely appalling and heartless customer service. I booked accommodation and called back within approximately 20 minutes of making the booking to explain that my father had suffered a heart attack the day before. I wasn’t demanding a refund—I simply asked whether the booking could be moved to a later date due to a genuine medical emergency. The answer was an immediate and blunt no, with no attempt at empathy, flexibility, or basic human decency. What followed was even worse: after the initial refusal, my calls were blocked, including when calling from other numbers. This is not a misunderstanding—this was a deliberate refusal to engage. I have recordings of the phone calls, which show how dismissive and rude the interaction was. There was no effort to explain policies properly, no escalation, no manager offered—just a wall put up and communication shut down. Hotels deal with unexpected emergencies every day. Most show at least a minimal level of compassion. This property showed none. If you value customer service, basic humanity, or even just being treated with respect during a family medical emergency, avoid this place entirely. I will be pursuing this matter further through the appropriate consumer channels

Dusty, Dirty , no service at all

It was suitable for what I needed at the time. A little far from anything but still a pleasant place to stay

Blood stains on bed sheets, burn hole in Bed covers, black pubic hair on bed sheet, dirty windows, unhygenic tea bags as they had no packaging on them. Front desk lady was eating food while talking to me, I could see the food in her mouth, it was gross, the restaurant was dirty, the sauce bottles had crusty old sauce all dried around the lid. The hall way had patch up holes in the walls. There were dirty laundry bags left in the hall way. The life was filthy, the lift doors looked like they have never been cleaned.

The room was in okay condition. Had Issues with the air-conditioning and general cleanliness and overall maintenance could be improved. Staff were very friendly though and we still enjoyed our stay.

The hotel seemed run down missing amenities when we arrived would not recommend

We booked this accommodation through Wotif for 5 people, but on arrival were told there was no room large enough for our booking. Reception advised a manager would call to resolve the issue, but no one ever followed up. We were ultimately placed in a room with only two beds, with no cot or alternative provided, meaning we had to squash in. The entire place is extremely disorganised. The young staff on reception and in the bar were clearly undertrained and unsupported. This isn’t a criticism of them personally — management has failed to provide adequate training. The bar area was messy, with empty drinks left around. The beer tasted awful and had to be refunded and replaced. When we tried to order dinner, we waited over 40 minutes, then followed up and were told it would be another 30+ minutes. By then it was 8pm and we had young children with us. Again, the staff member taking orders appeared overwhelmed and inexperienced. We also witnessed another family turned away around 7pm because their booked three-bedroom accommodation was not available — clearly not an isolated issue. The only positive was that the room itself was clean. Overall, this stay was exactly as bad as the reviews suggested. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone, especially families. Management seriously needs to improve booking management and staff training.

The balcony view was fine overlooking the pool. The bar was fine but the dining experience was terrible. Not personal service etc. The room only had the bare essentials but not very clean at all. I will never stay there again. A terrible experience. The reception staff were not helpful at all and quite rude.

Not cleaning service daily, additional charge apply if need cleaning, bath light keep flashing, dirty under the bed, very basic room, not even able compare to a motel, I would not recommend with the price.
