The hotel is located on the north side of Banff town, right along the main road (the town basically has one main north–south street), with a bus stop directly in front, which makes it very convenient. The hotel has two small outdoor hot pools with a beautiful snowy mountain backdrop — a very nice experience. There is also the Good Folk restaurant on the ground floor; it has a great atmosphere, though a bit expensive. At check-in, the front desk provides free transit passes (valid for 3 days; you can request another one after it expires) and complimentary coffee grounds. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are available upon request. Our room did not have bathrobes. When we asked the front desk, we were told they were in short supply and none were available, so we had to use bath towels to go to the hot pool. There was no microwave in the room initially, although we noticed an unused microwave placed on the carpet between our room and the neighboring one. Out of curiosity, I asked the front desk, and they immediately arranged to move it into our room (it seems like it might actually be standard equipment, but you need to request it). The hotel does not provide slippers. The room itself was decent overall. However, the heater/air conditioning unit was quite noisy. It would occasionally turn on during the night for heating, which slightly affected our sleep. One small tip: do not leave food on the balcony — birds will take it. Very nice and well maintained hotel, beautiful, spacious and comfortable room with a view on the mountain, excellent hot bath area in the open and sauna and decent gym (even though the addition of weighs and mats would be welcome). The only facility which we miss was an office area where to read and use the computer. However all together really excellent and very good quality for money.

It was an all around great hotel!!

The location was perfect on the main road at the end of town. Quieter and easily accessible by walking in the town or via bus. We had the mountain view room, which was beautiful. The hotel was very clean and offered coffee and delicious maple tea to prepare in your room. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious! The affiliate hotel across the street was great for breakfast or a nightcap. We look forward to a return visit!

Property makes a great first impression with friendly and helpful staff, lovely pool area, good dining. Rooms a little tight but well equipped, though the in-counter fridge was not very cold. The spa shower was 10/10. Sleep, however, was difficult. Because of its size this hotel appeals to groups and conferences and the doors close heavily, shake the walls and echo down the hall as group members go between rooms throughout the night. We were really looking forward to this stay but will not return and would not recommend. There are more comfortable sleeps in Banff at this price.

Amazing

Staff was amazing, they couldnt have been more helpful. Rooms were very clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Hot tub was clean and well maintained with an amazing view.

The staff were super lovely and they were flexible with our check-out. I stayed in the winter and found it to be a bit slippery near the entrance of the hotel, but was otherwise well maintained.

Best hotel I have ever been to. Staff was always helpful and kind.

Room was clean, great hot pools, and enjoyed having a cafe right in the area. We enjoyed the Rocky Mountain Co soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms.

The rooms were nice and clean. The roof top hot tub was amazing. Definitely will stay there again.

The room was spotless and the staff where extremely helpful, the front desk providing robed cups,coffee,tea and hot chocolate the hotel itself was amazing the hot tub is a must experience
