Overall, great stay, staff was great. Location and outdoor hot tub fantastic!

The Otter was fantastic! The restaurant down stairs “God Folk” was great and very reasonably priced given the dishes being served. If I had to say a negative I would say that although our room was very clean, the hallways were noticeably dirty and could be vacuumed more regularly. The fitness and hot tub area is amazing with beautiful mountain views. We got engaged on this trip and The Otter definitely added to the romantic feel of the weekend.

From check in to check out our experience with Otter Hotel was fantastic. We were greeted with warm smiles and friendliness. My girlfriend was wished a happy birthday and when we got to our room there was a special birthday message for her. The rooftop hot pool was absolutely amazing and the rooftop heated floor was great. Our view was very nice and room was clean. The underground parking has a clearance of 7 feet so my truck fit with no issues and the complimentary bus passes allowed us explore Banff while leaving my vehicle at the hotel. We ate supper at the restaurant attached to the hotel and we were not impressed. Over priced and under delivered, the quantity and flavour did not match the price, in our opinion. There was no gluten friendly menu options and our server was not able to confidently answer questions on what was gluten friendly. Hotel is for sure a 10/10. Restaurant is a 5/10.

They need to expand their parking stalls It’s impossible to get in and out of the vehicle unless u drive tiny sedan Barley fit my suv into parking stall and door was only able to open like 5 inch because of poll on every stall. Body wash was out after 2 squeeze had to wait around half way through the shower to get them to come top it up.

The hot tubs were excellent with views of the mountain, really a bummer that the hotel doesn't provide slippers to use for this area so remember to pack flip flops. Staff were super nice, the hotel is a bit of a walk to downtown Banff but the complimentary bus pass they give out is the perfect solution! Sudden Sally next-door at their sister hotel is delicious and has 50% off every afternoon! Room was great, love the Rocky Mountain soap co fo everything.
