The breakfast menu had a modern twist to eggs, enjoyed the smoked salmon and avocado toast with poached eggs, all very fresh. Very nice staff and very accommodating. Rooms are not large but have everything you need, and very clean, beds very comfortable.

The room we booked was a swanky queen and it was comically small. Whatever you’re thinking, think smaller. The door almost hits the bed and there is barely space to walk around the bed to get to the other part of the room which is the length of the bathroom doorway. Someone in a wheelchair would not be able to even enter the room. For the price we paid, this was truly awful and the reviews make no sense.

Great for business travel when you wont be in the room. Bed is comfortable, place is clean and deco is cute.
However, rooms are extremely tiny, heater is noisy and makes the room extremely dry.
The gym is the smallest thing I've ever seen.
Just not for me.

Love the Union Hotel. Close to everything, staff is always fantastic even when it's busy. Was there for the Jays home opener and even with a line at check in time staff was quick to check us in. Our room was fanatastic and spacious. This is my go to hotel when i"m in Toronto. Another fantastic stay!

Very nicely appointed hotel. Rooms are nice, some may say small but fit us well. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and the lotions and soaps were amazing.
A couple hiccups. When we checked in, we were told we had only held the room and were charged the room fee plus $150 security deposit. We had already paid the room so once brought to the front desk’s attention, they said if it was ok it was stay on and then fall off with the security deposit. Luckily that was an option and it did come off. Other negative are the room doors. You hear them closing every time while you’re in your room. It’s loud and you can hear the noise in the room. Also if your neighbours are loud, you will hear them. We could hear the ladies across the hall, and they were in and out quite a bit. So it was constant slamming for about an hour until we finished getting ready and left.

Basically across the street from the Porter shuttle stop, and a short walk to Union Station, this was a super convenient spot to stay at! The hotel is beautifully decorated, staff are warm and welcoming, and my room was immaculate; no dust, spotless, and I realized why I really liked it: no carpet in the room! As someone with allergies this was a huge bonus. The hot water was fast, great water pressure, and the rainfall showerhead was fantastic. A really great hairdryer supplied in room as well.
