Overview

Opened in 1981, Dalaman now has an annual capacity of 10 million passengers and handled around 5.6 million of them in 2025. It sits between two of Turkey's most popular coastal regions, making it one of the busiest seasonal gateways on the Aegean-Mediterranean coast.

Dalaman serves both Turkish domestic routes and a wide seasonal European network.

• Domestic: Istanbul is the busiest single route, with around 41 flights a week to Sabiha Gokcen - nearly a quarter of all weekly departures.
• International: London Gatwick and a wide spread of European cities, especially during the northern summer season.

Pegasus is the largest operator with around 39 flights a week, followed by Turkish Airlines. Other carriers include easyJet, Jet2, British Airways, Ryanair, Wizz Air UK, TUI and SunExpress, across 23 airlines serving 48 destinations in total.

Dalaman has two terminals - an older terminal handling domestic flights, and a newer terminal for international departures.

Getting To and From the Coast

There's no rail link. Fethiye is about 48 km away (roughly 45-60 minutes by road), and Marmaris around 98 km (about 1 hour 20 minutes). Shuttle buses, private transfers and taxis all run these routes, and car hire is widely available at the terminal.
