WAW handled around 24.1 million passengers in 2025, roughly a third of all of Poland's air traffic, and ranks among Europe's busiest airports. It's the main hub for LOT Polish Airlines, and also a base for Enter Air and Wizz Air. The airport operates a two-terminal complex — the original Terminal A and the larger Terminal 2 — handling both Schengen and non-Schengen flights.
