We accidentally chose this hotel for a sudden staycation with our kids. From what I know, it’s a well-known 4-star hotel in town — an older property now managed by Kimaya.
As soon as we entered the lobby, the ambience was disappointing. It was hot, with no air conditioning — maybe they were going for an outdoor concept, but I personally didn’t like it at all. It felt far from a 4-star hotel standard. The vibe was dark, there was no welcome drink, and unfortunately, the reception staff weren’t friendly. We arrived around 8 PM.
We were assigned a room on the 5th floor. While the room itself was clean, I was extremely disappointed with the bedsheet, blanket, and pillowcases — they were dirty and stained in various colors. I honestly couldn’t tell if they had been washed or not. Everything looked shabby and somewhat disgusting. The pillows were completely flat too. Overall, the room and furnishings felt very old and worn-out.
The hotel charges a high price, but it seems like they’re not willing to invest in improving their facilities.
The breakfast menus also very limited for 4 star hotel. But I appreciate with the resto staffs, they are quite friendly.
One more thing, about the pool. Very small area for kids. Not recommended at all if you want bring your kids for staycation.
