Hotels near Sunway College Johor Bahru

I stayed here for 2 nights, expecting it to be crowded, and the center of the city - maybe no longer the center of the city, because the mall/plaza is like a dead city, many empty tenants. 1-1 the only thing that was busy until night was the local karoke place, and the sound reached my room. until 1-2 am I could still hear the sound of karoke and the sound of people stacking plates/glasses. It seems like the center of the mall crowd is in KSL city, or JB Sentral - the distance is not too far but you have to take a bus / car first to get there. The room is quite spacious, but looks dirty and dusty on some sides. The bathroom looks clean but if you look in detail there are traces of dirty water/mildew on the corners of the door. wifi, I didn't expect too much, but it was completely unusable ahaha. In general, it's pretty good, but could be improved.

Hotel facilities are good, but the quality of the buffet breakfast and welcome drink need to be improved.

Room was smoky, and noisy as it faced the main road.

This hotel so comfort and clean, near city area, will be back for sure, thank you:).

Nice location, clean room and best price

Had booked this hotel in May 2025 for a short one night stay due to my business appointment. Was surprise with the ambience of the hotel once we entered the lobby. Smells great even in lift. There is a deposit of RM50 upon check in and check in was done in less than 6 minutes. Even though the room is a bit compact (smaller that First World Hotel Genting), but for a night stay at RM90, I guess is a reasonable option. The cleaniness is ok. There are toiletries provided. Bathroom size is small but manageable. But I need to compliment on the bed, it is super comfy and i slept like a baby. Soundproofing maybe not be excellent, but do not expect 5 start standard with the rate we are paying. There are COway water dispenser at the lobby, and they do provide free coffee and snacks to munch as well in the lobby. Location wise, it is near to Tebrau Mall and Toppen Mall. Just a 2 minute drive. So it is pretty convenient. If u travel further to Mount Austin (Around 8 minutes drive), plenty of food option available. Overall I am satisfied with my stay. And will definately choose this hotel if I am a short stop over for work in JB.

Easy access to lots of food and bars at Mount Austin. Took ~10mins to check in, counter was very slow and checked in 1 night for us when we booked for 2 nights. Had to recheck in. The room and floor has a sour and foul smell.

Ask extra pillow also cannot get. So worst.

The hygiene of the hotel was unbearable that we had to just book another hotel. The pillow still had shoe prints all over and bed sheets have stains. It 's definitely Nt family friendly as they are operating some business that is (you know what guys). I can stand poor service but hygiene I just can't tolerate.

Wifi is poor, room OK for single room, a little bit noise because I got front room first floor, so I can hear people walk. Overall I like the room little and tidy, a little bit far from central and other place.
