We stayed for one night and really enjoyed everything about the hotel. It was clean, quiet and check-in/check out was easy. The swimming pool was a nice treat for my kids. The walk to Clifton hill is about 10+ minutes, definitely convenient location, while being slightly away from the heart of the excitement.
The Aveda spa was closed the one evening & day we were there, but I had been at the spa about 15 years ago and remember loving the experience! I would have tried to book a massage again, if it were open.
Our suite was facing the “river” and it was lovely to see the water in the distance and the Skywheel at night. I imagine you would be able to see the nightly fireworks quite well, though at quite a distance back. We walked down to the falls and watched from across the street.
The hotel was lovely, I would definitely stay there again!

Front desk had 3 people working and all were busy doing some sort of paperwork so instead of being available for actual customers right in front them they kept right on doing their paperwork and made a line of people wait over 5 minutes. Quite frustrating.

We paid for premium parking yet advised it is not available on site. Later, the other staff led us to “premium parking” and gave us another step to follow that did not seem to be mandatory according to front desk. Another situation occurred at hotel breakfast as we were stopped abruptly by staff when we were leaving even though we requested for room charge. I enjoyed the room and view as well as location, but there were too many inconvenience dealing with staffs I cannot claim this was a satisfactory experience.

I couldn't make my stay because my mother had a heart attack and I had to take her to the hospital. Unfortunately , the double tree said I couldn't get a refund. Not going to be using hotels. com going forward

After locating check in, it’s quite a walk from garage to check in to casino to rooms. It’s very spread out with empty areas between each section, our room was perfect, river view. WiFi was okay, it was hard to reach front desk for information, but when we did interact the staff were all very friendly.

No Microwave in the room. Have to travel back and forth to reheat or make baby food. And my kids were under 6 years old they needed constant food warm and etc etc
