Reception staff and housekeeping staff are welcoming and friendly. That was very much appreciated.
As for the 'Carb' breakfast, I strongly suggest they add eggs to the menu and perhaps some fruit. Spoke with the supervisor/manager - not happening.
Reason enough for me not to return there.

Downtown location. Walking distance to stores ,restaurants, shopping. Very convenient. Very friendly staff. Very clean and nice suite.

Staff walked in while I had no pants on, did not knock, almost a fight between 2 people at breakfast. Breakfast is not what it says it is.just an American breakfast. Only pancakes as a hot food

It was a disappointment. The heat was unbearable and apparently there was nothing they could do about it. That's what the receptionist told me. I couldn't even open the windows so She "advised" that I open the door for some relief. I left without spending the night and they did not even offer an apology and of course no refund.

The amount of homeless persons congregating the in lobby at any one time was ridiculous, top that with an elevator lacking an inspection and feeling rather unsafe, the abysmal continental breakfast consisting of burnt coffee, cold pancakes and soggy croissants, or maybe the machine not working at all or the vending machines being broken. Maybe not having the usual amenities and toiletries for travellers who happened to have forget maybe a toothbrush or toothpaste. The worst part were the hidden fees and exorbitant security deposit after already paying in full for the room. Would not stay here again.

Everything almost perfect..except the parking entrance..my experienced after checkout and about to leave,someone blocked the driveway and took me 35 mins to wait.Went to guest service and its not helpful at all, seems like they cannot handle the situation too..end up to teach them what to do.
Hotel premises should put sign outside dont block the parking entrance.

Staff was nice, lobby and entrance nice as well. Room was nice in some ways like the bathroom was nice and big and bright. Living space was also a good aize as well as the bedroom. Bed was clean but bedsheet very evidentally were not the appropriate size. Multiple holes in the walls and ceiling. Room was stuck at 80 F (26C) thw whole time, when we went down to ask how to put on the AC we were told there was nothing that could be done as the AC in the building was off. Receptionist was nice but essentially said he was just passing on the message and to speak to the manager in the morning. Breakfast consisted of Cereal, Toast, Croissants, muffins and pancakes. Coffee and juice were also available. Parking not listed as additional cost but was an extra approx 35 $.

You have what you pay for. The breakfast is very poor, no eggs, no yogurt, no fruits, just buns and croissants. The room is updated, but very noisy. Pros - low price and close to Greyhound bus station.

The hotel is perfectly situated for public transport, about 2 min walk from the centre of the Montreal Metro network. The rooms are large and clean, but could be a little better equipped, with flimsy plastic cups being the only things to drink out of. And there is a lack of modern vending machines (taking cards / tap - no-one keeps coinage any more) meaning those late night needs for something other than water drank out of said plastic cups can't be met without a walk. The hotel has a nice restaurant area below which is only available for the free but somewhat spare breakfast. A shame, but I guess someone needs to decide to run a business down there that is competitive in the face of many other establishments within walking distance.
It was sometimes difficult to reach staff, but maintenance was fast and efficient after getting hold of someone. Only thing I couldn't get done is solve a problem that many hotels have - a TV that can't be operated because of dead remote batteries.

The property is located in the ghetto. My husband and I was walking and ended up in the middle of a police chase. Lots of homeless people hangs in the area. The tub had a slow drainage so we had to wait before anyone else can bathe and the toilet was very rocky. Construction is going on in the front of the property so we had to circle the area until we could have found the parking garage.
