It's holiday season but the staff was quite fast response to guest. It took only 20 minutes and then I got the room. Once I entered the room, the aircon's been switch on so it's the positive value for us. Their resto staffs also served good dan various meals. Love the way of staffs doing their job👍 by the way, I was annoyed by the visitor next to our table in resto. they took a lot of meals to their table as if doomsday will be coming soon. and they didn't eat them up, left a lot of meals in their table (Pic number 3) please, if you consider that you cant eat them up, be wise take as you can eat.

Probably the best hotel I've stayed in Palembang for the price! Unbeatable value. The suite was large and had a mini bar and useful for long stays but it didn't come with a window so I switched to their day room instead. Service was impeccable and always with a smile from housekeeping, room service, reception and security. 5 stars for sure and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

A great hotel to start with! The location is super good, even though it is not near the LRT, the placement is strategic with 3 nearby malls, two of it is reachable by foot. There are ample food stalls and convenience stores around the hotel. The nearest laundromat is only 5mins away, wash and dry only idr30 k (15 K for washing, 15k for drying). The room is super comfortable with a super comfortable bed, TV and console, sofa, office chair, work table, and free amenities such as coffee and tea. There is no refrigerator. They only have a cooler. So drinks in it won't get cold but remained cool. The toilet is a little bit sad. Though nicely made, the space is quite tight. The toilet has a Japanese seat bidet. Shower water is barely hot, more too warm. This hotel deserves to be visited. The staff are smiley and friendly. A good amount of security with lift access to levels requiring room cards.

Large hotel. Enough parking space. Receptionists were very helpful and accommodating. Short check-in/check-out time, simple process. Room card key needed to operate elevators. Room was comfortable, with refrigerator and hot water available. Sitting toilet with bidet. Air con worked well. There were swimming pool, fitness center, and spa although I didn't use them. Bar near the lobby opens evening to around midnight. Food was superb! Location was very good with a shopping mall right behind the hotel (need to walk outside for a bit to reach the place). Overall very satisfactory.

Pleasant stay as always. The room was spacious and more air flow, the best swimming pool with beautiful set of palm trees like in LA😁 (my two kids really enjoy the pool), we love our view, the balcony with green landscapes was great. it feels like we go to a forest with all trees and fresh air. Strategic resort in the middle of the city, and its not just a hotel, its a home for us, we love Novotel, touching our hearth 😘👍can't wait for our next staycation

Novotel Palembang - Hotel & Residence
We had a wonderful 4-day, 3-night stay in a spacious and clean family room witth multiple beds. The hotel was very convenient for our needs, and every team member—from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant, laundry, and room service—delivered excellent service throughout our visit. Special recognition goes to Taufik and Mayang from the breakfast team, Enggar from housekeeping, and Candra from guest services for their warm hospitality. The security staff was also very attentive and helpful.
This stay left a great impression on us, and we would gladly come back again!
Suggestions for Improvement:
It would be great to have a coffee machine in the breakfast area as an alternative for stronger, more flavorful coffee. Offering fresh fruit juice instead of syrup-based drinks would be a welcome upgrade. Additionally, serving pempek that is soft and not overly cooked, along with a broader variety of traditional Palembang dishes and cookies, would greatly enhance the dining experience.
Standouts:
We especially loved the local pineapple and Burgo—both were delicious!
